Opening day of pheasent season is saturday! I got school off tomorrow and am heading to Illinois. biggrin And on a note of hilatiry we got our thermoses out and one still had coffee in it from last year xd Hopefully we have a better season than last year. Between the dozen of us we got like seven birds opening weekend last year sweatdrop , was way too warm and a lot of standing corn, wasn't good. I would feel better about this year if we had snow on the ground already. I will be sure to get a few snapshots to share 4laugh

Yeah a few days before Halloween I got our our thermos for a football game in the rain. It had coffee from the year before. It took quite a bit of abrasive cleaner and bleach to get it clean and sanitized. It still smells moldy, but it is safe to use.

Oktoberfest, is here again! Bring your family and your --
Oh ... hehe.
I haven't tried pheasants at all. I am interested in water fowl though.
Eww... Yeah, I accidentally left the filter with old coffee grinds in it. Whole thing was mold. Needed to use bleech and almost resorted to fire.

That reminds me of our old house. In the basement my sister and I had our computers in the electronic repair room. There was a wooden frame for an ancient TV down there. We cleared it off and made a coffee bar there. It didn't get used much though so we once went several months without cleaning the filter. gonk

Ah. I'm back from illinois. I tried to post yesterday but the new gaia login is messed up. it won't let me click login on my psp. Well hunting was a bummer this year, we hit 70 degrees both days and there was TONS of standing corn still left. So none of the birds were in cover at our hunting spots, they were all in the corn. We got five birds between ten people and two days. Ouch.
And my dad didn't got hunting with us last year. So the coffee in that thermos we think might have been two years old. rofl
Also had a great discussion with my great uncle on politics. Showed me a nice piece of his he keeps by his living room chair. a police issue tactical .40. Had night sights and 90 lumen light/laser attatchment. Oh and you guys will love this, the guy he bought it off of LOVES glocks. Literally the guy has over a dozen of them. One day he was talking to my uncle about how he lost one of them and my uncle, not skipping a beat, said "oh, i will be right over there with a big magnet and maybe we can find it, oh wait, ITS PLASTIC!" Another thing he said i laughed pretty hard at, "remember, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away."
Ah, i love my family xd
