this is the stuff that keeps parents from wanting there kids to join the military at all. i was just by there base when it happened. to all of y'all what is ti like when you get back is the stuff about you still think you are in war true.

I assume you are talking about the shootings at Ft. Hood.

There are shoots in school sadly. But parents will still send there kids to go there. Flawed logic me thinks.

Anyways it was so pointless, and the fact this horrific crime was committed by a Major (I believe his rank was) who worked in the mental heath is even more disturbing. Was a ******** b*****d. Should have just taken his own pathetic life then destroying many others.

If you did not want to go on deployment don't join the military. stressed

My first deployment to Iraq I was out processed in Ft. Hood and I have friends that work on the base even now. 2 which work in the out process center. Luckily they posted on Facebook that they are fine.

yes he hwas a major i dont have a problem with deploymwnt and we dont knwo what all happened to tha tgmajor before he mad ehis mistake

Don't believe the civilian news networks, they have the story wrong. But obviously the military likes it that way.
