It might be a fake tattoo thingy, like the one that both of them have in the one epi where they meet chuck
edit: maybe the person who drew or put on the fake tat for the epi got bored and drew the one on his arm, or they just might of gotten bored and decided to just draw on jared.... i got bored and draw on myself sometimes... sweatdrop

I don't know guys, I have seen a lot of arm tattoos and that one looks real to me. If they cover it up for the show it is possible because Kat Von Dee for her new perfume advertisement she had shots done were they covered all her tattoos. And it was freaky, she looked like she didn't have any.
I watch LA Ink a lot....and that was one of the episodes.

We do have choices.
Looks too dark to me to be a real tat. Something's just a little... off about it. The fact that it's all scrollwork, yet you don't see anything coming up from under the cast area also makes me think it was drawn on. You don't see gaps like that anywhere else in the design, after all.
