OMG OMG OMG
eek eek my dream of going to the U.S. might become reality next year!
our administrator already asked me if i'm interested to accompany some students who would like to go there to compete in an international convention.. and i said YES. DEFINITELY. XD
i already have a PASSPORT.
>> the only thing i need is the ever elusive U.S. VISA...
AND.. >> MONEY to cover travel expenses (the school WON'T pay for my airline tickets). >> i mean.. its like.. ALMOST a whole year's salary (for me) to be able to buy a ticket (back and forth) plus a bit of pocket money if i'm going there.
which is why my wish to go there has remained a wish... till NOW!
i just had a talk with my parents and they just offered me their "free miles" (accumulated miles from previous trips) to pay for my airline ticket! so its now a POSSIBILITY!!!! and i really REALLY feel that next year, I WILL GO TO THE U.S.!!!!
and yes, my number 1 agenda (besides accompanying my students) is to VISIT YOU TWINNEH!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont know how i will be able to go there to you.. but i REALLY wanna see u.. FOR REAL!!! and huggle and glomp and squeeze u IN REAL LIFE (gasps!!! XD)
anyway, the state where i'm supposed to be accompanying my students will be in Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, Kentucky. O__o how far is that from where u guys at? so at least i have an idea and plan about it and save up for my pocket money there.
u see, i was planning on saving up my xmas bonus/13th month pay to buy me my own laptop.. BUT now im thinking of saving up for my pocket money and possibly travel money there.
anyway.. I'M SOOOO EXCITED.. over the POSSIBILITY.. nearly reality.. of me leaving the country and going to the U.S. (hopefully at Disneyland too.. XD).
*crosses fingers and prays super hard*
btw.. >> my parents have a condition for me to be able to avail of their.. >> miles. they said i have to lose weight.. LOLz. i mean.. DUH.. what better incentive neh? hehe.. i'm all for it. XD

I'm so happy that you're finally going to have a chance to travel here!!
I know how much you wanted this and I don't blame you! LOL at your
parents and a hug for them too! But you can do it!!
Sadly... I don't live near Kentucky. Connecticut is hours and hours away... crying
But if I remember correctly Crimson and Silver live in Kentucky! ^_^
You could see them and take lots of pictures! But even if you can't see
me or them, I want you to enjoy every minute you have here!

Omg that's awesome! I'm so happy for you! <3 I sure wish I had an opportunity to meet an online friend like that!
I've gone to France before, but the only other place out of Canada I've gone to was Maine in the US. Though being on another continent was really cool. XD

Wah that's so exciting! It's so cool that you get to live a dream like that biggrin
I think Kentucky is far away from a lot of us, unfortunately the U.S. is VERY large and if I remember right a lot of us are northerners ._.
I've never been out of the US before. I really want to go somewhere, but I don't have money... I really, REALLY want to study abroad, but I've been having so much trouble finding a job to save up money crying

Kentucky is an interesting place to hold an international convention. ^^; But, then again, I've never been in Kentucky, so maybe it would be a good place to hold it.
I went to Japan last summer, and I was born in England, so I've done some traveling. But I still want to travel more and more! I don't really care where, anywhere would be interesting.

The most I could do is maybe meet you in NY since it's about 2 hours away.
We could take a train there and maybe hang out downtown or something!

What time of the year would you be visiting? Cause while I live in New York, most of my year is spent in southern Wisconsin, basically on the border of Illinois, which is close enough to Kentucky for me to get to by bus. ALSO, if you visit Kira, Connecticut is very close to New York... s**t, that'd be so ******** awesome.

Holy crap! That's so totally awesome Kai!!! biggrin And it'll be sweet if Toboe and I can come to kentucky to meet you! We live on the West coast though, so I don't think we'd be able to make it ;-; Let us know when you'll be flighing out this way!!!
Never been out of the country except for a few hours in Victoria, Canada. It was fun ^.^
