Out of everything else in the list I would say suspense because its so suspenseful when Lelouch tries to decide what decision to make or the moment before a character dies.

I think it's just about sex, for f#$ks sake every episode at least one of the girls if half naked, sometimes they are completely naked. And all the times Lelouch was "accidentally" in a sexual position with one of the girls isn't just a bunch of jokes. OR ARE THEY?!?!

i think it has to do with loss....i mean...so many of the charecters lose someone they love in that series.....
