we recently "rescued" a dog from my brother's friend who couldn't afford the surgery. the dog ate a thong while being neglected (brother's friend was at work/school and asked his sister to watch the dog) and it rotted his intestines; they had to cut out about 9 inches, if i recall correctly.

this is him, his name is gizmo
he's a chihuahua, mini pinscher, and toy poodle mix


and not to forget my other old soul, noah
he's a shetland sheep dog

That's the cutest chihuahua mix I've ever seen.

I miss my dog. The friend I visited after Disney had two big dogs that were great, and it just made me want a big dog in the family again.

I have my cockatiel, but you can't roughhouse with a bird!

i have a pure bred dalmation and short haired pointer. really sad, though.. we're gonna have to give away the short haired pointer because she keeps going into the neighbors yard and he threatens to shoot her. : ( she's just settled in too, 'cause we didn't get her too long ago.
