First this is about fun. Have some. smile Lurkers and players are both welcome. In fact, the more the merrier. We like fresh meat... friends to jump in. Enjoy!!!
These npcs listed below are in the casino for the entire event. Feel free to use them as you see fit. I prefer none die unless it is discussed with me ahead of time since they will be the basic personnel of the Tempest.
Dealers will be at the tables, hostesses and security walking around, chefs will be serving as well as preparing so you will see them in the dining rooms or private rooms as they describe what they have prepared for you. Souse chefs only if you go into the kitchen. The more expensive callgirls may wander around and find someone. The rest would only be in the rooms.
The demons are not seen unless they allow you or you have a demon and are capable of seeing them. Halfdemons are an exception.
Events going on within the casino are up to you to decide what is happening. Find your fantasy and go wild. Within reason since you do not want the princes called down on you or Edward...
Event listing is as follows:
Mischa's welcome will be first before any activities proceed. It is a 'red carpet' moment for celebrities as well as the rich and famous. So dress appropriately. *laughs*
Art gallery showing Antiquities of Egypt which includes not only the normal paintings on the walls but also a large exhibit of Egyptian artifacts including the sarcophagus of Tuthmosis III.
Ballroom event features the music of the Trans Siberian Orchestra, but also the Murray James Band for listening and dancing. The bands will alternate during the night.
Games area features blackjack, roulette, poker, and gin. There are also slot machines as well as an arcade of pinballs and the lastest video style games.
The Theatre features four of the latest movies, Law Abiding Citizen, Zombieland, Sorority Wars, and Men Who Stare At Goats. The shows show constantly in the four theatres.
The Showroom features burlesque, comedy, plays, and showgirl dance retinues. The costumes are lavish, feathered, glamourous with glass beads and glitter.
The Bordello is of course open and any rooms that do not have names on the map are open.
The Shops are also open and you will find only the best and most elegant items for sale within. There are also a couple upperclass restaurants there as well, but they are not casino controlled or owned. The shop owners lease from the casino.
The large pool is closed but lit with floating candles and has lots of tables and such around it for atmosphere. Temporary walkways- like arched japanese bridges- have also been built to cross over.
The fountains at the front of the casino are all going full force with a lightshow in them. Fireworks will also be going off at midnight over the bay in front of the casino.
Private conference rooms are open for the night filled with buffets and entertainment.
The chefs are all cooking their finest meals for the buffet and dining rooms. No expense has been spared for the guests to enjoy themselves.))

The Tempest
Headquarters for Asmodeus & Seere   
Disclaimer* The casino map is from the Bellagio, but it is only being used for rp purposes and no profit is being made from it. Adjustments were created for the second floor and do not reflect on what is real.
First Floor
The Tempest casino is set up pretty much as the Bellagio is with a few minor changes. The only changes made for writing purposes are those leading up to the second floor. And a minor one that leads into the security area and down into the Vaults. Consider this place the most luxurious and lavish of anyplace you know. This is made for the rich to feel pampered as well as the not so rich. Whims are catered to here depending on whether it is in the direct eye of the public or not. The darker things happen when noone is watching. What else would one expect of the headquarters of two demon princes.
Second Floor
The main portion of the second floor consists of 95 basic rooms, 53 bordello rooms, 17 VIP suites, and 5 Odd suites for special activities. (Don't ask.) There are also private rooms for Kyrie, Cela, Theros, Mischa, and Sam and various others that are invited. The entire area around suites and offices are one way glass so that at any time they can look down into the casino without being seen. The red lines denote one way shatterproof glass. Do not attempt to enter either demon's harem unless invited. They guard their property jealously.
The Security Office and Vault
The security office itself is circular taking up two floors. Several guards are in the rooms at all times. Outside the first floor door is a terminal to not only scan fingerprints, it has a voice scanner and eye scanner. One may not enter unless all three match. Few will see this area unless the most trusted by Asmodeus, Seere, Theros, Sam, and Mischa.
Lower office
Four to six trusted employees work the two cages exchanging money for chips or vice versa with customers. At the back of the room is a large safe with the working cash of the day. Next are two elevators by which three guards stand and another terminal that is a duplicate of the first and requires all 3 scans to match.
The first elevator goes up into the locked security room. To enter from the second level, one must use the computer terminal or enter from Mischa's quarters or the casino offices.
Upper office
The room is surrounded by one way glass allowing the guards to look down but noone to see in. Monitors are built in to allow access to any camera in the casino. Both video and audio are used to keep trouble to a minimum. Not all cameras are easily seen either. Some are put in places one would not expect and secreted in the ceilings or light fixtures.
The Vault
The second elevator in the lower office leads to the vault underground. This is the only way to get into the vault. The accountant and two assistants keep the casino books daily. Four guards stand at the sides of the room with one large safe contains all the money. Five unseen guards also reside in the room. (More on them later. XD )
Casino Offices
The furnishings are the most lavish and elegant that money can buy. Outside is a blue security feature. It allows access by the secretary and others into the offices, but only those who have been given that access. One step inside the offices and one knows immediately that money backs this place. The area itself was split into four sections. A reception area to one side with comfortable seating, refreshments, and a secretary who personally greeted each person who entered. Magazines are placed nearby for use while waiting.
Behind the secretary's desk are two doors. The left room is for interviews. Comfortable seats are placed opposite the desk to allow for the interview to proceed easily, but there is also a less informal area to do interviews also. Mahogany filing cabinets lined one side with a dark cherry desk, exquisitely made. Two sides of the room are entirely glass with rich silk curtains.
The right room has a place for security meetings with filing cabinets to one side. This area will seat 30 at a time.
Inside is a green security panel. It opens the door just behind it which leads into a hallway that accesses Mischa's office. Two bronze doors have been magically sealed by Seere and Asmodeus to prevent just anyone from entering. At the end of the hallway is another green security panel to allow access to the security office itself where the monitors and most trusted are allowed. Theros' office is there also on a riser but open so that he can see everything that is happening. 9 to 11 guards work in the security office itself and only the most trusted ever see it.
Mischa's office has two desks at one end with several chairs, computers set up, a bar area, as well as comfort zone. Even though Sam is frequently absent, she is a partner and Mischa insisted she have her own area to do as she liked. The furnishings are the finest that can be bought. A rich hand carved desk made from cherry rises up for each of them. The tables and chairs are elegant and rich in burnished golds.
The comfortable seating is luxurious in the finest brocade fabrics though equally tastefully done. The few paintings on the wall are originals and were hand selected by Mischa and Cela. Silk curtains can be pulled entirely around the room or left open but the one way glass allows none to see inside the room.

The Open NPCs are those that can be controlled by lurkers and players. Just do not kill them without asking first please. wink I'd like to keep some generic NPCs around for everyone to use as they feel like. Any of these people could be seen around the casino at any time.

(( OOC... The casino is open with this post. Anyone who wants to jump in, please do so. Not entirely sure what will happen yet. Perhaps nothing. Perhaps a murder or even more. We'll see... Gambling however will not proceed until Mischa gives a welcoming speech/few words or simply says gambling is open. *smirks* Many people have been invited to the casino, but only 500 have a special invitation to get in the first night/week of the opening. )) IC....
The entire casino bustled with activity. Everyone from cashiers to cooks, security guards to hostesses, were busy and it filled the air with excitement. The fountains outside sprayed up into the air, cascades of color and movement as it neared dusk. Many stood nearby simply watching the motion, getting intoxicated on the atmosphere around them. Limosines arrived lining up as valets opened doors for those inside to make their entrance on the red carpet that lined the walkway to the huge bronze doors that led inwards.
Monolithic and the epiphany of elegance, the doors rose upwards though they were not open yet. The elegance of silk tablecloths and drapery glowed warmly as candles flickered from centerpieces in the dining areas. The deep blue carpet inside looked like a sea tossing and turning in the wake of a tempest and enforced the name. The finest crystal goblets were filled from a sparkling cascade of water as it ran gently from top to bottom. Wine bottles were stacked high in the winery as were the food supplies in the pantry of the kitchen. The fragrances wafted from one area to the next, the promise of delicacies to please the palates of the most critical eaters.
All the staff was double checking to ensure everything was ready and Theros stood nearby overseeing it all. Dressed in his finest white suit with a splash of green, the head of security rechecked everything as he placed his guards at strategic spots. The demon hounds already patrolled to keep everything safe but whether it was for the owners or the demons, none were saying if they knew.
Mischa was nowhere to be seen yet. Neither was Asmodeus. Theros's eyes narrowed at the thought. She had alluded she had a date to pick up, and he had said nothing. Simply smirked and vanished. But he turned his attention back to those outside he knew was waiting. Hopefully it would not be much longer before the two showed up.
The television stations had sent reporters and many were dressed in their finest as they spoke to the potential guests lining up on the red carpet. Cameras flashed as pictures were taken of the finest fashions and those wearing them. Everything was glamour and glitz, but most eyes were on the now open doors. Invitations were checked against the names on the list and those with both were allowed to enter and directed to their tables as they passed through the rest of the casino. The slot machines were ready so too were the poker tables and roulette wheels, their dealers readying chips and ensuring seats were properly arranged.
The ballroom was domed glass and allowed light during the day. At night it was spectacular allowing the glittering lights of the city to be seen. Candles floated amidst flowers in the sparkling clear water of the pool. Temporary arched bridges were set up over the pool leading to the ballroom itself. The lights reflected a rainbow across the walls and floor. Hostesses stood at the doorway, seating each person or party as they arrived at their tables. Waiters had already begun bringing drinks for those seated while they waited.
In the center of all the tables so carefully arranged, a band was set up on one side. The center of the room remained entirely open. Dancing was to be allowed for those who wished it. Everything was ready.
Soon it would begin.
