MAZAL TOV!!!!
True, Henry Ford was a horrible antisemite who recieved commendation from Hitler, but the company itself if fine. Just like how Walt Disney was also a horrible antisemite, but Disney as a company was redeemed by Michael Eisner and made A-okay!! blaugh
If it were a Volks Wagon, I'd have to rationalize it a little more.
But, seriously, Ford is fine.

Well a lot of us drive on the interstate everyday and yet we don't rationalize that. Just because something is German and the Nazis had to get their mucky paws all over it doesn't make it tainted.
Ford are just less reliable in some aspects compared to their Japanese counterparts in the same price bracket. The same can be said for any car brand though.

Neuf -- it's an Escape hybrid. Prettiest little thing ever.
Scion (and all) -- I did a lot of research on a lot of cars. As it turns out, the Ford Escape Hybrid was the 3rd least expensive SUV on the market, had the 2nd lowest cost of ownership (average maintenance costs from parts wearing out or failing), the lowest gas mileage of any SUV on the road, and the highest quality rating.
Ford did have some really rough years, but they are back on top.
And Henry Ford is dead, so you see what happens to anti-Semites. wink

UPDATE FRIDAY, 20 NOVEMBER 2009: I will be out of town from Wednesday the 25th until Sunday the 29th. I doubt very much that I'll be able to get online during the time I'm staying with relatives.
