A friend told me about this guy that makes really nice handmade racks that are fully customizable. So I snagged a mahogany stain two spacer for my interface and laptop. I was thinking about ebony at first but I figured I can always stain it darker if I don't like it. The finish is nice. Very smooth, no bubbles. It looks amazing in person. I'm pretty happy with it. It has a funky vibe to it.

At the moment I don't have a monitor so the laptop is hanging out on top and the SPX900 is keeping it's spot warm.

Hopefully when the SPX900 heads out I'll snag a 22" or 24" monitor and the laptop will go in the bottom space with a perforated cover. Ultimately I want to put another profire in there and switch my recording rig over to a mac mini. Then route in a SSL X-Desk for summing. biggrin

Yes it looks so HAWT in person, I want to sleep with it. It's so smooooth and it smells good.

I made a mock up of the SSL. My shitty fold up table will hold it perfectly. I should probably build a desk though. If I do I want it to match my rack. Which is going to be expensive. :/ If I get a real job again I can probably afford it by february or march.
