The way the secret societies have been "unmasked" in the media, it seems like there's very little left to keep secret. There probably isn't much power behind it anymore (if there was much at all.) There are (in my opinion) shady things happening behind closed doors between political and economic powers that the general public is not privy to... now THAT has be going on since the birth of the US Constitution. So its almost expected.

There are a lot of members of the Free Masons. Not many of them are really all that powerful. It is a little freaky though, that they have these weird rituals, then turn around and say they're Christian.... Bleh.
Bush is supposed to be a Knight or something like that... but it really didn't look like he was running the show, did it.... Too stupid.

That movie Murderous Intent/Like Minds (depending on the country you're from) kind of deals with this.
"The forensic psychiatric Sally Rowe is called by Detective Martin Mackenzie to analyze the profile of the teenager Alex Forbes, who was found in a train station holding the body of his schoolmate Nigel Colby and with powder in his hand. Alex discloses his relationship with Nigel, who believes that they were descendants of the Templar Knights, and how Nigel used the power of his mind to control him. Bush seems like he would be a pawn if anything. If he had power I think he would have manipulated things better and not been the butt of almost every joke these days.

Bush was a cover. He was a face and nothing more. : ) He was part of Skull & Bones, he's admitted it.
Who says Skull & Bones weren't ruling through him? They could do whatever they want - they had a good attention-seeking point with the War. Even if the newspapers grabbed hold of a story, I daresay they'd make something big happen in the War so that it'd be lost in the headlines.

Even if the newspapers grabbed hold of a story, I daresay they'd make something big happen in the War so that it'd be lost in the headlines. Agreed. He's about as bright as a pet gerbil. Ever since the early 1900s, war has had only one purpose: profit. Sadly, not the kind of profit that would benefit the people of any nation; only the people invested in it. Ever notice how after a war the country goes into a major deficit? Its like our country goes through a major brain drain right into their pockets.A lot of people die, and a few very special people get rich.

So its almost expected. This is very true. But I really dont believe in the Illuminati or the NWO :/ It's all a conspiracy theory to me.
