Disney XD is now airing Naruto Shippuden episodes on Wednesdays at 8:30/7:30 pm central. they started on October 28, 2009 with the first 4 episodes.

Very true, and so far the voices seem to go well with the characters. I adore Deidara's voice.

I heard lot of ppl unhappy about it being on XD but i can't see why. I've been watch it and don't see how cartoon network would've done it differently or if different would even be better. Also I'm gonna stop watching during the fillers. I saw them subbed and once was enough. I think that's why cartoon network stopped showing Naruto. Nobody cared about the fillers so it wasn't getting good ratings. I would change channels within 5 min of most epesodes.

same with me but if we dont watch the fillers...naruto shippuden will get cancelled just like on cartoon network...oh and that's only partly the reason they took it off....mostly cartoon network took naruto off cause' some kid tried to do "Sand coffin" in his sandbox and died. So instead of getting sued, they just took the show off

Could someone explain the purpose of fillers to me? No one watches them so why do the networks even air fillers? I heard about the kid dying but the parents should have been watching their kid, monitoring what he watched on television and explaining to him that it was not real.
