I'm sure how many paranormal experiences other people have had, but I've had a decent number of things I couldn't explain or debunk on my own.

This was one of those WTF things. It was when I was in high school, I lived the farthest away so I was always the first and last on my hour long bus ride. I got out of school at 3:30 so it was about 4:30 in the afternoon. It was spring out, the bus was on the road that leads to the turn where I got off. It was sunny and bright out, I was perfectly comfortable. I wasn't thinking about anything creepy or paranormal.

I wasn't sitting in the last seat, but about three seats up from the last seat. Something caught my eye so I looked forward. I saw two figures peering over the seat. One was over the back of the seat ahead of me. You know how kids do that to talk to the person behind them and they almost always get yelled at by the bus driver?

The other was from the same seat, but out in the aisle and still turned to look into my seat.

They were clear, with a brown tint to it and they had shifting colors. Think of a bubble and the way the light hits through it, how it gives the rainbow shine. It was like that but the colors swirled through their forms. They stayed there for about a minute and I was looking directly at them. I sat back in my seat freaked out, and I looked at the bus driver to see if she had noticed but she didn't. Then they were gone.

They didn't have faces, clothes or anything like that. Just clear forms obviously staring at me. They didn't glow or emit any light either. They were just there.

I just think it's strange that it was full daylight, and they stayed when I looked at them so it wasn't a peripheral vision thing. I've had other experiences but they were never like that. Never seen anything like it again so far. The other things I have seen and experienced weren't colorful, or as clear as they were. They didn't have the shifting colors, and they had features or I could describe clothing.

I was just wondering if anyone else has experiences something similar, of if they could shed some light on what they might have been.

From all accounts I've ever read about apparitions, the ones you saw do not fit in anything of the spirit realm. I think you might have actually seen fae, or at least something along those lines. Once you think about it, there are tons of unexplainable creatures that come and go, and not all of them could be placed. I personally have never visually seen anything, I just get audio and feelings. The other things you've seen are most likely spirits. You most likely might be a clairvoyant or super lucky to see them flat out like that. If you've seen many in your life then clairvoyant indeed. You're apparently sensitive to the world that isn't ours, so don't be too freaked out by anything you see. If it gets hostile, then freak out xD

Someone else suggested that to me as well. I didn't really think too far into it though.

They were the same size as normal people, and the other things I've seen. I rarely see full body, or actual physical human looking things. Once when I was in the third grade, I was struggling with an assignment and was feeling really down about it because I seemed to be the only one. I felt warmth on my shoulder and a pressure, so I turned around and saw a woman in blue resting her hand on my shoulder as if she was proud of me for trying or something. I looked around to see if anyone else saw it but nobody did.

Other times were at my old apartment, kept seeing a child. It'd hover above our bed as we slept, and I tried to ignore it so I could sleep. That place was creepy. We kept having the blankets pulled off of us, doors slam, things moved or were put in places we would never put them. My fiance and I would have similar nightmares without talking about anything, and eventually we stopped using the bedroom all together because it was bothering us so much. He said he saw the same child following an orb into our kitchen, that it was just skipping along. I drew what I saw and he said it was the same and then wanted me to throw the picture away because it creeped him out. He said he saw it next to me while I slept, and one night I woke up and heard loud whispering next to me. TV wasn't on and it wasn't the neighbors. It seemed to target him more than me. One night he started acting like he was choking, and he kept swatting at something even though nothing was there and moving away. It happened twice and he had red marks on his neck. He said it felt like something had put pressure on the outside of his throat. Since we've moved we hadn't had any issues.

My old house I'd catch glimpses of something, had my hair and clothes pulled. My room used to be in the basement under my parents so I could hear if anyone was up walking around, and one night I was up late watching TV and something knocked on my door. I never heard anyone use the stairs or walk around upstairs, and my cat couldn't knock that high on my door or that hard. I asked who was there but nobody answered and I didn't open my door. My cat would often stare at certain spots and randomly hiss and run from the room.

Only other time was when I visited family in Ohio. I was up late watching TV in their living room and I saw part of a person in yellow. I tried to go to sleep and I was woken up by someone saying "I'm so glad you're here". My fiance thought maybe it was the TV but I had the volume down low so it didn't bother anyone else, and this was loud and right next to my head.

Those were all way different than this though. It doesn't always scare me... well not like run from the room screaming scare me. It just spooks me because it's kind of sudden. I usually try to ignore it and go about my business as usual. Only time things were really scaring me was in that apartment. It just felt wrong all the time, especially in that bedroom. Most of my experiences have been sounds as if something has been moved when it hasn't, misplaced objects, and my animals freaking out for no reason.

Yes animals are highly perceptive to spirits, actually. So your animals were reacting on instinct to the paranormal.

Ah, intelligent hauntings and that wasn't a very nice one with the choking. Good thing you moved or it would have gotten more aggressive.

Yeah you're most likely clairvoyant, and the person in yellow saying that to you, they might be aware you're aware of them unlike everyone else. That's interesting. O.o You should try getting some EVPs the next time it happens, have a sound recorder ready. When you see them, hit record and start asking questions and talking to them.

Most of what you've seen are intelligent, and partial to full body apparitions. They usually choose to show themselves to people, and some can be picky with whom. Any dedicated ghost hunter would love to be you xD

Haha. I was tempted to try and get some EVPs in the apartment, but my fiance was too freaked out. I don't blame him. I told someone else what was going on and they suggested getting an investigation team in, but I knew they'd need permission from the manager and all that and it wouldn't happen.

Some of the things happened in the laundry room as well. In the building there were three stories, with a laundry room on each one. We were on the second floor, and right across the hall was a community room. All the doors have windows in them so you can see if anyone walks by. We were up late doing laundry (because it's the only time the washer was free) so we got it all set and were just messing around for a couple minutes. Just talking about random things, I don't remember what. We walked across the hall to check the community room because it had a kitchen in it and sometimes people left out cookies or candy for everyone. Nobody walked by and we were only in there for about four minutes. We walked back into the laundry room and the washing machine was pulled out four to five feet from the wall, and around three feet to the left. In the months we had been there we hadn't seen it move or wobble. The load wasn't unbalanced and all the people in our building were old or disabled so I doubt any of them could have moved it. We both tried pushing it back and we couldn't even budge it. Another time he went to get our fabric softener and while he was gone the laundry card went from being next to the wall to shooting towards me. I freaked and stayed in the corner until he got back.

Lots of people die there, most of our neighbors didn't last very long.

But yeah, I trust my animals more than anything. My cat went from fine and on the bed snuggling with me to growling, hissing, and bolting from the room and she always stared at my doorway. In the end I stopped sleeping there as well and moved upstairs. <_<;

With the child, have you ever been pregnant, or possibly a twin when you were born? If not, you may want to look up the history of that place, see if there was a child lost there that may want to protect females from their male companions.

No and not that I know of. My guy treats me right so it wasn't like he did anything to trigger it.

It was a small town in southern Indiana which is pretty religious. (Hardly any Halloween crying ) So if there were other paranormal events I don't know that they would have been reported. I'm not sure what was there before the apartments, but the apartments are mostly for elderly or disabled tenants. My boyfriend is disabled which is why we lived there, and the other apartments close by had tons of drug raids so we didn't want to live there.

I live in Florida now and it didn't seem to follow us. Last I heard someone else moved into our apartment though and they're going to be accepting non-disabled or elderly as well so maybe some of the younger people will report activity.

From what I could see of the child I don't know if it was male or female. I'm leaning towards male because it looked like it had shorter hair. Looked like it was wearing dress clothes. It was black and white, kind of shadowy but not to the point of being a shadow person. It's features seemed hollow and dark. Couldn't see eyes. When I saw it it remained still like it was just watching us. I pulled the blanket over my head and pretended I didn't notice it. I'm always afraid that if I pay attention to whatever I'm seeing that it'll make things worse.

My fiance and I would have similar dreams...like exact dreams. We kept dreaming about teeth. Teeth crumbling, decaying... One time we both had a dream about losing the last two molars on our right side on the same night. I asked someone about it and they said dreams about teeth are usually brought on from worries about health which sounds normal but I'm still creeped out that we had the exact same dream. We don't lie to each other about things like this. Half the time I couldn't even get him to talk about it because it scared him so bad.

I'll see if I can find anything on the history.

Also, I don't know if it's exactly relevant, but right behind our building were other apartments. Right after we moved a lady that lived in one of them shot and killed a man. http://www.wbiw.com/local/archives/2009/09/shooting_at_bedford_apartment.php

I mean this is seriously like RIGHT after we moved... we left on the second.

I have... 2 I think... yeah, the first two. I plan on getting the rest but I get distracted and end up getting movies and such.

I just found something relevant to the history though. I know theres the limestone theory...That places with lots of limestone seem to have more paranormal activity than others.

"Bedford is known as the limestone capital of the world, and is surrounded by limestone quarries, many of which are dangerously used by the residents for swimming. A common name for the light gray Indiana limestone quarried in south central Indiana is "Bedford limestone", or "Bedford Oolitic limestone"." -Wikipedia.

I'm not really finding much else... Keep getting results from other towns named Bedford.
