I'm pretty new to Role Plays but I like to think I'm pretty advance myself since I write a lot in my free time. However, so far in my time I've been in two one-on-one RP's and so far I've been ditched in both. I'm not angry I just want to know what I've been doing wrong.
With the first person she said she RP'ed all the time and was very advance and except x amount of paragraph's and hated one liners. She requested someone to RP with someone who had a plot at hand so I PM'ed her (it was yaoi). It started off pretty good and I thought I was making okay progress but I guess I wasn't because she said I wasn't giving her enough information but I personally felt she wasn't giving me more to work with either.
The second person I found when I posted a some what detailed one-on-one RP, I had the plot and the outline of character ready - who they where not what they should act like as that was up to them - yet after a few PM's they suddenly stopped.
RP'ing is no fun when I'm the only one who wants to do it. Any help with what I might be doing wrong?

One on ones do tend to get boring after a while. Maybe it's not you, but them.

In my experience, one-on-one rps are easier to boredom because it is all on the two players to bring the plot and necessary elements to make the rp enjoyable. Sometimes the plot runs thin and interest declines. I don't know if that is your case, but it has happened to me.

Maybe next time you could possibly choose a different subject or plot? 1x1's do seem to fade quickly.....however, it could be something different. In your first RP, did you follow her directions? And the second just seems like the other person either lost intrest in the RP or even Gaia, you never know. Could you possibly post a sample of your first RP?
