As many of your writers know, Novemebr is National Novel Writing Month, or NaNoWriMo. You may have seen the topics floating around on Gaia recently asking who is participating. In the spirit of the season, The Ink Wells November 2009 Challenge is....
How many words can you write in one month?
NaNoWriMo askes for 50,000. Set your own goal and ge to it. And if you are like me, writing a piece that you don't wish to share for one reason or another, a word count will suffice. And for those who want to do this the right way- here's the site url. http://www.nanowrimo.org/
And lastly, for those of you who don't feel up to writing a novel, I am requesting a Halloween and Thanksgiving story, featuring your characters. If they're from a fantasy verse, bend reality a little. Have fun!
Go to it, people!
(For the Holiday Story Points: *****, For NaNoWriMo you get as many points at thousands of words [i.e. 15,000 = 15 points])
