How do you perceive Buddha?

In what ways do you think of Buddha?

In what ways do you enrich your life through Buddha and Buddhism?

How do you see Buddha?

Personally, I see him as having been a great teacher and a wise man with ideas worth following. He was a truly kind and loving individual, who created a path to the end of suffering (or at least re-taught us one that we'd forgotten) that was open to all people.

My life is all the better for having listened; I'm calmer, kinder and more attentive for having learned this way of life. If it weren't for this teaching Buddha, I'd probably not be what I am now. Actually, I know I wouldn't be - everything I have learned has made me what I am, and without this linchpin, I'd be something else. biggrin

I see him daily, in the mirror and other people. We've all got that in us; it just needs cultivation. 3nodding

I see the Buddha as a manifestation of pure compassion. I belive the Dharma is easy enough for a child to understand, yet difficult for an adult to follow. I was blessed to have grown up with the teachings. I'm not sure how my life would be without having the opportunity to hear the teachings of the the Buddha.

i see Buddha as a spiritual being that lives within us all, Buddhist or not. He teaches and inspires us to do the right thing, the thing that will lead to enlightenment. Buddha is of pure love, and when we share our love, we share Buddha too. He is one in our mind, body and spirit. The innocence and openness of a child's heart is the best place for Buddha to enter, and we grow with him, gaining wisdom along the way.

Buddha is in my heart, and he is in the hearts of everyone around me, even though i am the only Buddhist there.
