My best friend's dad has a bunch of the older books. Probably like 2.0 and 2.5. And I mean a lot of them. Monster manuals, Deity guides, campaigns, etc... It'll be fun seeing the difference our generation uses from those versions of the game.
The reason I want them is not as much to play by those rules (though I probably will), but to read. I love reading books of those sorts. Knowledge for future reference, though I don't really see what I'd need it for just yet. xD
So, have any of you seen the older stuff? I mean, I myself have only glanced at 3.0, and the likes. Truthfully, I've only ever played part of a single campaign, so reading up on the old version, and maybe even playing such would be quite fun.
