Last December, the Titans beat the Steelers in Nashville. The victory sent Tennessee to a 13-2 record and nailed down the top seed in the AFC playoff field.
During the game, Titans running back LenDale White saw fit to stomp on a Terrible Towel.
Created in the '70s by the late Myron Cope, the Terrible Towel is a yellow swath of fabric that, in the eyes of Steelers fans, occupies a position just below the Stars and Stripes.
After desecrating the towel, the Titans have lost eight straight games -- one in the 2008 regular season, one in the playoffs, and six to start 2009.
So now the Titans are trying to reverse the curse, via the efforts of Nashville radio host Thom Abraham, of WNSR-AM. Abraham has sent a Terrible Towel signed by White and Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck to the Allegheny Valley School, which receives a portion of all proceeds from the sale of the Terrible Towel. The signed towel will be auctioned.
Abraham sent a note with the item. It says "LenDale and Keith wish you all the best" and "P.S. Please release the curse!!"
"This is not an apology," White said. "I'll probably never apologize unless I'm playing with the Steelers one day, but, you know, it is what it is. It's going for a good cause and I'm happy to help it."
So now the Titans, led by Vince Young, will run the table and make the playoffs.

I am a Steelers fan.
And they deserve it.
I would not reverse the curse.
They learned their lesson.
=]
And the Steelers are going to win the Super Bowl this year.
=] Gotta go for 7 rings!

Titans were my pick to win the game today. But, I have to admit. The towel stomp was MEAN.

They did this on Oct. 30th before today's game. Guess what? They won~ Congrats to the Titans :]

I are Cowman Titans were my pick to win the game today. But, I have to admit. The towel stomp was MEAN. Was it really the Titans fault here no it's one of the Steelers fans fault.

Vince Young suicidal azz doing it big, i know yall' saw that last touchdown..it...was BEAUTY!!(Yeah they didnt have to stomp our flag,but we wooped dat a** in week 1 so its all good razz )
