History: Geoffrey was born and raised a werewolf, but it was quickly realized that his talents were especially rare for his species. He had amazing art talents, and his musical compositions were astounding. His parents nurtured these talents, in an effort to hope that he would show that werewolves were multifaceted beings like everybody else, and more than just "Canines".
Geo picked up on this and decided that he would make it his life's work to show that werewolves could fit into society just fine. And he figured the best way to do that would be to make an impression on the younger ones. Henceforth, he became a teacher to help students with budding musical and artistic talents flourish, and show them that he was no different from them as well... as far as he race was concerned.
Powers: He is an empath. No-one is better at senseing someone's emotions and identifying with them than him.
Strengths: Manual dexterity and an impressive sense of smell.
Weaknesses: He's kind of awkward around the female teachers. He gets flustered very easily.

Extra:Some of his paintings have sold for hundreds of thousands in art auctions, and major musical artists will pay through the nose for rights to some of his compositions, but he never tells anyone about it. He's too modest. He's also a new addition to the staff at Bai Ching.

However, is just as much loyal to her half-brother, Ares, as he is to her. Very intelligent, mostly self taught. History: Her and her half-brother, Ares, grew up in the poor section of town, while not orphans, their mothers (they both have different ones) were gone and father was always at work at the dock. Because of her (sometimes) lazy eye (As said in Ares' profile, sometimes her right eye will stay focus above her eyeline, even if the left is looking elsewhere), Nali was picked on fairly often and usually it lead to Ares getting into fights to defend her. Because of it, when she was 13, she ran away to, in her eyes, protect Ares. Ares however thinks she was kidnapped. Powers: Can levitate if she focuses and can fire arrows attached with some over her energy. Can also heal minor wounds. However, she's still developing, since she only found out she was half fairy a year ago. Strengths: Some abnormal abilities, intelligent and quick. Weaknesses: Physically weak, often afraid, poor eyesight. Appearance: (Just make it so she has brown eyes)

Personality: Arathos is very quiet, but polite. Extremely chivalrous. If he is threatened, he will do his best to avoid conflict. If there is no other choice, he takes down his foes as quickly and effectively as possible. He is ashamed of his dragon heritage and avoids showing people his dragon form.
History: Arathos was a born to a human mother and a dragon father. His father was a notorious womanizer, and he is quite certain that he has half siblings out there somewhere. His mother was the daughter of a landowner and she has long since disappeared from Arathos' life after finding out about his father's constant cheating. For a long time after, he lived with his father, discovering how to transform into a human and live amongst them. When his father wanted to return to the other dragons, Arathos refused. He got into a large argument with his father, and left without saying another word to him. After moving out, he adopted a new name and got a job at the night cafe where he's been working for a few years. He's very friendly, and loves seeing new people come into the cafe. No one except the headmistress of Bai Ching is aware of his dragon heritage, and he has asked that she keep it a secret. Time will tell if he will ever admit the truth...
Powers: Can transform into a dragon, can bring forth his wings and tail while in human form. He has some basic black magic and can also manipulate nature to a powerful extent. He has lapses, however, and can sometime make flowers appear out of random places.
Strengths: Making coffee. Cooking, too. He is also quite knowledgeable about things around the school.
Weaknesses: Large groups of people close to Arathos give him anxiety attacks. He is fine in a classroom, but a crowded hallway he panics.

Extra: When he sneezes, he accidentally sprays out cherry blossom petals. His favorite food is beef jerky, and he always has a bag on him wherever he goes. He also likes to nap, despite all of the coffee he drinks.

Occupation: Lifeguard/Trainee Guardian of the Lake/Janitor.
Personality: Ambitious, Naive, Idealistic, Defensive, Impatient, Volatile. Trusting, Sensitive, Intelligent.
History: Ural is a "surf" (servant) from the merkingdom, and has been content but ambitious in his work. He cleans the school as a Janitor, tends the Olympian pool (is a pool boy), and is a trainee Guardian of the Lake. Ural is the younger brother of a knightly ranked merman who protects the secret of the Lake. Ural has yet to earn this title, so he doesn't know what lies at the bottom either and not allowed to see it. But Ural has dreams of making a name for himself and in his 'cresting year- which is 14, Ural wishes to rise up in the ranks through good efforts, hard work, and become a Guardian like his older brother. Urals father doesn't want him to get involved in such a dangerous job, mostly because he was the weaker of the school of brothers. Out of 5 sons, Ural and his older brother Manou remain. Every merman/mermaid has a special gift which they receive during the 'cresting' year as they approach adult hood at 15. Urals particular power is an area of concern, his family doesn't want him to get into a situation were he has to use it. But Ural is determined, so much so he lives part time on land in a tower suit with an insufferable roommate! Who's lot in life appears to be making him miserable and exposing his 'fishy-parts' to the world whenever possible and most humorous. When he isn't cleaning, guarding the shores of the lake he's arguing with Michael, and maybe beating him up, maybe- he usually deserves it! ( in his opinion)
Powers: Metaphysical Exchange: With physical skin to skin contact, Ural can transfer wounds from an an individual to himself. Marine Empathy: communication with merfolk and marine life using feelings, not thoughts His family tail is that of a flying fish, hence, Ural can leap and skim the surface of the water to very impressive heights and distances without submerging again, nearly getting airborn. It's handy when he wants to sucker punch Michael. Ural can manipulate water to a small extent but that's held back due to his age. (Water manipuation is a more adult ability) And of course, when his tail dries it can turn into a pair of legs and vice versa.
Strengths: Ural is known for his agility, quick wit and intelligence. He maybe hot headed, but he wont suffer making stupid decisions. Ural is very swift and sea worthy of course. His fast reaction time transitions from the water to land, so it's hard to sneek up on him- yet Michael has managed this on numerous occasions.
Weaknesses: When emotionally provoked Ural has trouble settling down. When you piss him off he'll make you pay. One way or another. He's hypersensitive to water, and he must be super careful not to change into his merform and for lack of a better word- Be BEACHED. If he transforms outside of water he's physically incapacitated, unless he gets his hands onto something. (or someone!) Ural has sensitive hearing used for underwater sonar, and his eyes are sensitive to light. Both he can manage, but he doesn't listen to loud music, and cannot stand really bright lights or look directly at the sun. Ural must be exposed to water daily, that's just how it is with merpeople. Without a healthy exposure to water he can suffer dehydration.
Appearance:
Extra: Ural's older brother Manou is highly protective and uncomfortable with the idea he's spending his cresting year on land, so he insists Ural checks in with him every day to insure he's well. Cats like to n** at him. He smells tasty to them and apparently fairies.

Personality: Lisa has a very mixed personality. Most times she is calm and in control. Others she can blow up and get angry at the slightest things.
History: Lisa grew up not knowing her father, the unknown elf disappeared shortly after meeting her mother, and unknowingly impregnating her with his child, the man disappeared. Something her mother kept secret from her for years, the truth of her biological father. Alisa always believed the human male her mother married was her father, and grew up calling him so. When Alisa was 4, the two of them gave birth to Alisa's sister, Linda. Who Alisa treasured with all her heart. She was happy.
Even without knowing of her elf blood, Alisa had always been a strange child. Whenever there was an open flame in her home, she'd stare at it for hours. Sometimes without knowing it, Alisa would sometimes make the flame move or grow bigger, depending on Alisa's mood.
Just a little over a year ago, Alisa and Linda got into an argument. In the middle of the fight, Alisa threw fire at the face of her younger sister. An accident that left her sister badly injured and in critical condition.
In her guilt over what she had done, Alisa left her home. On her journey she soon learned of her elf heritage and this school. She enrolled into the school, but she never accepted that she was not fully human. She is now trying to learn how to use her power. At the same time she has made some new friends.... who drive her crazy with their constant bickering....
Powers: [Pyromancy:] Alisa can create and manipulate fire.
Strengths: Able to withstand heat and fire better than others, and bend it to her will.

Personality: Gossamer is a generally quiet girl. She prefers listening over talking, and you usually have to ask her a direct question or comment before she’ll engage in conversation with you. Though she’s often quiet, it does not mean she’s without opinions. She prefers to express her thoughts through facial expressions such as rolling her eyes, making a silly face, shrugging, or any combination thereof. Gossamer is gentle and kind, but can be a cold and imposing presence when angered or slighted.
History: Gossamer was born to the King and Queen of the Fae, and was Marked as a Good Fae at birth. She was judged to have a pure heart, and a giving soul. While Gossamer was Marked for good, her twin sister Thorn was marked as one of the Wicked Fae due to the rampant darkness in her heart. As the two grew older, Thorn seemed to exhibit none of the qualities for which she was Marked, but was treated with extra care nonetheless. Gossamer, aware of her sister’s delicate standing within the community, requested that she and her sister study abroad so that Thorn might have a chance to prove everyone wrong. Her parent’s readily agreed, and sent the girls to Bai Ching to complete their studies in the magical arts.
Strengths: Gossamer’s strength lies in her magic. As one of the Fae, she possesses one of the purest forms of magical energy: Wild Magic. This she can use to bend to her will as the need arises.
Weaknesses: She has a tendency to put too much faith in people, and allows second chances to those who do not necessarily deserve it. She believes in the good of all things, and can easily be misled because of this.

(you can call her Light…) Race: Forest Imp, the tree folk Gender: Female Age: 13 Occupation: Student - junior Personality: Flaky, jumpy, extremely hyper and happy. Light is, at the best of time, really annoying… She jumps at almost anything that’s the tiniest bit surprising, is stupidly loud, gets in the way of everything, tries way too hard… you know, she acts her age, if not younger… Think of a 5 year old on strong caffeine, there you have it. In addition to this she’s a worrier too, say something that might cause her to worry and oh god you’ll know about it. History:Lights family are Forest Imps of the Sequoia Tribe. The Sequoia Tribe being the Imps in charge with protecting the trees and even some well hidden secrets, the guardians of the wooded areas by order of nature its self. Light is destined to become a guardian herself, as said in her name, watching over the area past the west river. The Sequoia Tribe are free from the usual Fae world, taking their orders from nature spirits and other forest 'gods', and are pretty serious about their work. This includes Light, although just now she just wants to learn and have fun. Light used to live in the forest, generally pissing off travellers and what not by following them, asking countless questions and getting in their way until they left the boundaries of the trees with her familiar partner Tael. Her family still live in the forest and she does visit from time to time, especially her mum. But being quite independent decided that as a ‘mature young adult’ she would enrol in Bai Ching to learn more about the culture of different races. As Tael is her companion he had no choice but to go with Light, not something he minds, but he would rather she visited the forest more. Powers: Spirit summoning. In a pinch, Light can summon forward forest spirits to fight for her cause. She also used nature magic and general magic. Light also tends to float around the place, despite the absence of any wings. Strengths: Stupidly nimble and fast, her small size lets her fit into places no other person can. Her magic is that of the forest and as such is not limited by her body size, but more in the health of the trees. She gets quicker in bright sunshine. As Tael is more or less always with her, they work as a team. Weaknesses: Her size, one hit and she’s basically out so it’s all about avoiding attacks. Appearance: XXX wearing these clothes. Light is tiny, her height being only 6 inches. Likewise she also weighs next to nothing, maybe less than half a kilo. If she was ‘normal’ height she would still be small, being very flat-chested and with quite slender hips. But hey, she’s only thirteen; she’s convinced she’ll grow at least some kind of assets. Other Information: Tael goes basically everywhere with her, and if anything keeps her out of trouble. ______________________________________________________ Username: Giyari Character name: Tael Race: Forest cat (Light’s ‘familiar’) Gender: Male Age: 13 Occupation: Making sure Light stays out of trouble Personality: Well, being a cat there isn’t much Tael can let on in personality. If he was human he would probably be pretty up beat and happy, ready for a laugh. But since he has to look after Light he spends almost all of his time with her trying to keep her out of harms way, which tends to get him into trouble just as much as her. He loves Light and shares a bond with her that he can’t have with anyone else. History: Even though he’s 13, which for a cat would be old, Tael ages at the same rate as Light and therefore is himself still a teenager. He was born from the forest’s energy rather than a natural birth, and paired with Light from birth, and he’ll likely stay with her until they die in god knows how many years. To begin with he had no duties and spent his life playing with Light and the other kids and their familiars in the village he was created in, but as both he and Light matured they were told of their futures as guardians, Light as a forest guardian, Tael as Lights guardian, they still both have a long way to go though… Powers: Tael doesn’t really have much powers, he’s a cat. What he can do though is increase his size immensely, from being his usual height to a massive 7 foot at the shoulder. This power was bestowed upon him by the forest to protect Tael from danger. He has a ‘link’ to Light, with which they can exchange thoughts. Strengths: Tael isn’t a ‘natural’ cat thus magic has little effect on him. He is also very nimble and quite the tactician and being a cat, hunts pretty well. Weaknesses: Although he knows human language he can’t physically talk to anyone, his only communication is through Light, Tael can’t use magic either and relies on Light for defence. He also can’t resist catnip… Appearance: Usually just that of an all black cat, standing at 2 foot tall he’s pretty big though. He wears a small saddle so Light can hitch rides from him when needed. If the growth power is used Tael resembles a stupidly massive panther Other Information: Tael has the potential to manifest a human form once he fully matures at the age of 19, though this is unknown even by him.
