So did anyone hear about this program in North Carolina giving this group of teenage girls a dollar a day not to get pregnant? Apparently it's going towards their college education, and if they end up getting pregnant before then, they lose all of that money. ... Your views on this?

Well the idea is that they don't get pregnant so either way it's a win Safe sex usually involves condoms which stop spread of STI's as well Win/win situation 8D

Hm...to think.
I used to live in North Carolina. If I had just stayed...I could have made myself some college money...
You know how useful that'd been???
o.0 What if they have some sort of rule like...you can't be a lesbian cuz that's cheating? I mean...that's discrimination but still...

how would that work? that wouldn't be enough to get them through all the years of schooling they need. espically if they were to get a masters at a very expensive schooling and such.
but then again, what are the terms, they say teenager...does that mean from 13-19? or what? either way i don't think its worth it.

D8 I wanna live thur! EVERY penny towards college counts. Save a little here, parents give a little there, a few scholarships, and bam! You got yourself some college moneh. :] I think it's a very good idea.
And then again, those who are really wanting to go to college are probably the least likely to get pregnant. -shrugs- I'd still like it to be available in my state.
