Aletea fought hard to stop the grin that was twitching at her lips at seeing the little boys reaction to her. And she did succeed, for the most part; a smile appeared on her face, but it didn't look like she was trying not to laugh. And then when he asked his question, she finally managed to smother that urge to chuckle.
"Well, Aletea. Letya's close enough, though..." her tone was pleasant and friendly, as she continued. "Lia can't manage my full name, normally."
After that, she momentarily made a face at the baby, inciting a giggle.
Then she turned her attention back to Lex, nodding amiably to him. "Thanks for keeping the imp occupied - she's been cooped up, so she's more hyper then normal."

((A thousand apologies for the late response. Christmas + exams = no time for RP. D: But I'm done now.))
Lex blinked back at her. "Er..." he stumbled. Watching? As in taking care of? Was he really being...nice? Lex stopped and made inward oaths. He was being all...parental. Like that crazy pirate guy. It was gross.
"Uh, yeah, sure..." he said, caught off guard. He had this strange thing that kept coming back. He kept being...nice to people. It weirded him out, because it happened so subconsciously. He should've just not said anything and left the room alone. His curiousity sometimes killed him, it really did.
He stood up somewhat awkardly. "Yeah, so uh...it was...good to meet you," he said, nodding his head and standing there for a moment. "Yeah..." he murmured, still baffled and still standing there. He wasn't quite sure what to do. He couldn't think. For being a genuis, he was being very stupid.

Aletea grinned at Lex, noting that the boy seemed very dazed. How cute. She noticed that Aurelia seemed a bit tired, so stepped around to the other side of the chair to pick her up.
"Well, it was nice meeting you!"
Then she carried the little girl out, and headed back home.
