Ok so im fairly new to lolita...please dont hate me if this topic has already been started before emo But I've been looking at clothes online and I want to buy my first outfit as soon as i can sum up at least a couple hundred dollars for my self.. But i was wondering how one should go about measuring when buying online..? I want to buy a dress but then i dont want to have measured and then it's too tight on me and then i can't really wear it and I give it to my sister since it's uncomfortable..But then I dont want to measure and then multiply or add and have it be too big and then get it tailored and they mess it up gonk So what do you suggest for putting in size measurements..? I dont want to waste money on beautiful clothes i can't even wear cry

Always, always, always make sure you're at least 2cm smaller than the "minimum" measurement on tailored garments. For shirred ones, I'd say stay below 2cm of the maximum, at least. If you're having something tailored by a company like Fanplusfriend, Anna House, In the Starlight, or Mashimaro Girl, just give your straight measurements. They'll add wearing ease on their own.
If you need instructions on how to take the measurements themselves, Fanplusfriend explains it pretty well on their sizing page.
