Gargoyles were once statues, meant to guard holy lands and scare off demons. This changed when a dark sorcerer cast a spell, turning all gargoyles into living creatures. Able to breath, eat, sleep and mate these are now like any other living creature. Due to their stone-like skin they are resistant to most physical attacks. Magic is their main weakness, though perhaps a strong blow from a heavy weapon could leave them shattered...

Many believe that a Goblin is a cursed child, one taken into the realm of shadows. This tale is told to children to scare them from breaking the rules, though if it is true no one has found out. These creatures are viscous and will attack anything that moves, even their own kind.
The die like any human and Elf.

Spirits who have not crossed over, but do not have a burden holding them here. Ghosts are generally harmless and usually only have advice for the living, sometimes though they can lead a living to their death. No known way to slay them has been recorded, perhaps there is no way..

Ghoul:
A shape-shifter who mostly appears human. Due to their shape shifting abilities no one has seen their true form, they are also used as assassins. They blend in with the rest of the populace of Descadias, hiding behind different shapes. They die exactly like humans and elves.

Griffin:
Griffin's are creatures of honor and protection, used as a symbol on most armor. Though it has been a few years since a griffin has been spotted, a family of them are said to reside someone on the Vadecadias mountains.
