Sanguina Cruenta It's wise not to mix them 3nodding I think Ren was just interested in your experiences and whether you might have any input on that matter. I know. biggrin I just tend to get carried away and say a lot more than I mean to in answering questions.

Sanguina Cruenta Little Batwing There are a lot of others I'm interested in (such as Cernunnos, from the Celtic pantheon), but it's hard to find information on them, aside from very basic things.
I know this is late - but there's actually jack all about Cernunnos that we know. There are a few pictures and his name written twice. That's it. Annoying eh? Yeah, most of what I've been able to find so far is basically what you said. Everything modern people 'know' about him is just speculation. It's really frustrating. burning_eyes

I think the best I can do really is to suggest you talk to Gaulish reconstructionalists and ask them about their UPGs on Cernunnos. So long as you keep in mind that those are just their epxeriences, it may be of certain help to you. Celtic religions are particularly hard because of the amount of total bullshit published under the "Celtic" banner.

rmcdra Though I'm devoted to Yeshua's God, I do have an interest in the Greek pantheon. While I don't technically have prohibitions against worshiping other Gods, I do have prohibitions against becoming enslaved by other Gods. I'm honestly ignorant of how relationships with the Greek Gods work though. Maybe someone here could give me some more information on it. I have some personal preference toward Athena, Aphrodite, and Hades Speaking purely from my own experience: I've invoked Greek gods before and have gotten some help from them, but I've never been asked for anything in return, as far as I could tell. Certainly not my enslavement, at any rate. If I thought my freedom were at risk, I wouldn't have tried to invoke them, so I understand your concern. I do thank them, light candles to honor them and leave little offerings on occasion, though. In the Greek pantheon I've only really worked with Athena and Dionysus so far. Maybe the other Greek gods are different.

My primary interests lie in the Egyptian deities and the Hindu deities. I make minor contact with a whole slew of other pantheons though.
