just a dedication thread to Caravaggio, i love his artwork

and because i cant not have a drawing here, i decided to test myself by drawing like him

Hey cool test drawing! Are you thinking of refining it or was it just an experiment? Feels like a good direction and I think you're definitely picking up the palette! Man, seeing this makes me realize at how rusty I am at coloring something...I haven't really done a serious one in a while!

Yeah looks like you got the palette and feel of his work across successfully. The missing nipples and belly button and somewhat cropped-off hands give it kind of a slightly uncomfortable feel, but I guess that's par for the course with your style huh =)

Man, so many subtleties with the interaction of light and skin...it's daunting ><

Nice work, are you gonna work on this further? Maybe you could play a bit more with the high contrast of lights and shadows on her skin with that little chiarascuro technique Caravaggio loves to do
