Apparently, a LOT of people are hopeless romantics. They like dates and going out for dinner and dimmed light and having songs that fit them as a couple. And they think that their kind is so rare that they have to be hopeless!
As a teen girl, I FEEL LIKE A HOPELESS UNROMANTIC. Nonromantic? I don't want the door opened for me! I don't want flowers or teddy bears!
THERE ARE MORE LIKE ME! I KNOW IT. If you are a self labeled hopeless romantic, do not take this as offense. (well, take it as a little offense, but it is in jest <333) But if you don't like soft music and holding doors open, THIS IS A SUPPORT THREAD!
Discuss the hardships of being a hopeless unromantic and get support here! We will not give in! We will not have romantic Italian dinners in which we share one gigantic spaghetti noodle!

biggrin I LIKE PEOPLE DOING THINGS FOR ME AND BUYING ME STUFF. But not in a romantic sense, more like I just like to get stuff sense XD
I hate romance rolleyes Its so cheesy and lame and booooooooooooooring omg so boring. It like feels tedious whenever anyone is at all romantic XD
Romance seems too needy for me. I will treat you so horribly if you try it to pull that s**t on me XD
AND LOL XD There are WAY too many hopeless romantics out there. They are so silly for thinking they are alone.

I like getting things too! But that's because getting things you like is nice. Not because it is romantic. My DS from Evan was not very romantic but it is probably in my top 3 favorite gifts ever.
Like seriously I think Valentines Day is a great day for having IRONIC cheesy fun and cute little kid valentines and candy hearts that taste like tums, but it is very bad for actually taking seriously and doing romantic things.
AND! SERIOUSLY! If you need me to be all romantic then I am sorry, it is just not going to work out. I just don't get the POINT.

it's all clingy and needy and sappy and 
like those women who doodle their crushes' names in a notebook with hearts and stuff
people still do this IN COLLEGE wtf

HONESTLY I couldn't STAND being all romantic and s**t!
but I KNOW that one day I'm going to meet somebody and a song will play in my head and I'll want to like jump in puddles so their feet don't get wet and s**t.
I'm not looking forward to the day I become somebody's lapdog, but I know that it always happens for everyone, even the people who HATE romance. SO, I'm ready for that day, as much as I may hate the fact that it will one day arrive... UGH! Kill me if you ever see me feeding somebody and saying "aww, I love the way you chew"... GAG!
