Sooo, I've just decided I'm gonna go for it again this year. I need to get back into the groove of writing regularly. I also have an idea that's been itching to get out. I'm pretty excited, because I just found on campus has a group dedicated to this. I can also go to the write-in parties this year if I want, seeing as I'm an adult and all that crap. 3nodding
For those who don't know, NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month.
Anyone else in the APG gonna do it this year?

{Sunrise}//(Make me feel life) (Sunset)//{Make me feel love} Oh god, don't remind me! gonk I want to do it, but my laziness is screaming against it. There are a lot of stories I want to write, but I keep pushing it off. But you're lucky you've got a group with you to help you, I hope I can find a group like that when I go to college.

Oh man I totally forgot!! O:
Hmm... I guess I'll do what I do every year and that's try to finish one of my stories I'm working on. Or at least add a few chapters. I've been re-reading my older work and fixing stuff.... I should get back to work on the others.

There's a fanfic I started a few years ago, but it read more like a script I guess. I would love to finish it, but when am I going to find the time to I have no idea.

Time is definitely the hardest part. During the summer I really pushed myself to write 1,000 words a day, but when I finished that story I slacked off hardcore. That's why hopefully this will help me get back into a good writing pace 3nodding

I know sometimes I slack off but most times its because I don't have any idea what I want to come next. I'll know what I want in the beginning and at the end... but getting there is the hard part.

I know sometimes I slack off but most times its because I don't have any idea what I want to come next. I'll know what I want in the beginning and at the end... but getting there is the hard part. My best advice is to just let your characters run with it... Just get really in-depth with them rather than the plot. You might end up cutting out a LOT, but cutting is (sometimes) easier than adding, yeah?

Every year I say I'm going to do it and end up failing miserably. Part of me wants to do it just so I can actually kick myself in the butt and work on my novel, then I can go back and rewrite it if need be.
