In my daily readings of the Book of Mormon last night, I came upon 2 Nephi, chapter 22, verse 2. It says "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation." I really felt inspired by this scripture, it made me want to sing, to bow down before the Lord, and dance before him with joy all at the same time. For the first time, I really felt like the scriptures were talking to me, specifically. Did this scripture, or any scripture, ever give you that experience? Please, share your stories.

1 Nephi 22:30 "Wherefore, my brethren, I would that ye should consider that the things which have been written upon the plates of brass are true; and they testify that a man must be obedient to the commandments of God."
I found this scripture the very first time that I ever read the Book of Mormon, shortly after I had my dream that I was proclaiming it to be true. (I had this dream before I ever read the Book of Mormon, for those of you who haven't read my conversion story.) When I discovered this verse, my dream was confirmed. I knew the Book was true! I had spoke some thing similar to this verse in my dream. I said, "The Book of Mormon is the word of God and every one needs to read this book." Then to see it written in the Book itself! It was so cool!

Now THAT is some coolness. It's amazing what the scriptures will do in our lives. Sometimes I can't believe all the stories I've heard, but at the same time, I know them to be true, and they give me strength.
