Trouble is rising once more in Germany for Ed and Al. Leads and searches have brought them back into Berlin, Germany searching for the Uranium Bomb. Last rumors were that a German scientist named Roderick was studying the Uranium to make the ultimate bomb for the superior race. The two boys gain great news from a friendly face offering to take them to the scientist as long as they report back how the new 'toy' is going. While the plan is to steal the bomb and get rid of it, everything changes when they arrive at the estate. The Roderick family is, or was, the Rockbell family. The Roderick family offers their home hearing they were sent by an officer of the Nazi Party. While Urey seems weary of the two boys, his daughter befriends the brothers and slowly learns the truth of them and tells them the truth of her family. Urey and his family aren't German but are being forced to develop a powerful bomb that would most likely be used on millions of innocents. However a Nazi commander has a pistol to his daughter's head if he refuses to make the bomb. To Edward and his brother, the plan has changed. Destroy the bomb: Save the family. Could this rescue mission end up getting them home as well?

Back Story: Her parents crossed over the gate when her mother was still pregnant. This resulted in Ruth's Gypsy powers, since she would undoubtedly receive terrible treatment for it, as would her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Clemmens were killed by Nazi officers a few years back, but Ruth managed to escape with help from (Alter) Roy Mustang, whom secretly hates the army, though he is an officer. Ruth now lives in a run down home. However, her parents never got around to destroying the circle that activated the gate, and since she was a young child, she has seen visions of the Elric brothers. Her only mission is to await their arrival and help them, and herself, cross the gate.
