I'm taking a look at
b2evolution as an easier way of maintaining and updating our site.
From what I know, its sort of a blogging system, only with many many more options and complexities than Blogger (which, I admit, still somewhat confuses me
sweatdrop ). With b2evo, we should be able to submit articles according to category, and then view them by category, which will make things much easier as more issues come out. Articles also will not have to be html-ified, as it can all be done through the browser. We can do the member pages in the same way.
Another plus is that they use skins, which can be as simple as a html and css file, but can have extra features if you know how (which I uh.. don't). I'm not sure exactly, but we might be able to set it so that there are many skins that the user can choose from. Fun to make, and that way lots of members can have their layout on the site.
I'm still trying to figure it out at the moment, and it does look a bit confusing, so I was wondering if anyone uses b2evolution, and knows how it works?
