It's so funny because seeing that flier I was thinking "I could actually hypothetically go and see it. Is he good? Haha

Your pictures are super amazing! Holy cow! I really like how you take a lot of the simple things in life and make people look at them like they're something super special. I've been keeping my eye on the Waikiki sunset for the past hour or so. I can see it from my bedroom window. It's neat to see the sky change and the buildings turn from silver to black.

If you want an SLR, you can always look on ebay. My mom gave me her old SLR Minolta. It works beautifully and I've seen them on ebay for super cheap. You can often get the camera body, flash, a few different lenses, and all sorts of other fun stuff for between $100 and $200.
I have a Konica Minolta XG1 that my mom got when she was in college. It's about 25 years old and (after a cleaning) still works beautifully.
