Rogue nodded mutely. "He wanted to keep us apart from his other experiments..." She muttered, disgusted. "He did different experiments on us, or so we were told...."

Gen took Maria's hand and set her down, walking to her dorm with her.

Rogue shook her head. "Never....We only snuck into it once, but we couldn't get past the second layer. We didn't know the code......We knew he kept his experiments in there, and that's where you probably were, which is why we never saw eachother..."

Gen smiled and scooped Maria up in his arms, planting a gentle kiss on her cheek.

"I never knew the layout of the place, it was Jion that was always escaping. She made a map," Ezekiel explained. "I usually stayed with the younger kids, like Maria," He added.

Rogue blinked. There were others that her father had experimented on...She ducked her head. "I feel ashamed to be the child of that....Thing." She spat out and buried her face in her hands.

Gen would've loved to continue to kiss Maria, but unfortunately, they had reached her dorm.

"Well, there is one good thing he did," Ezekiel said. Rouge gave him a questioning look. "He brought a beautiful girl in to this world," Zeke added with the tiniest blush.

Rogue's eyes widened and a dark blush spread across her face and she looked away shyly. He called her beautiful....

Gen obliged, opening the door with his telepathical powers, since his hands were full. Literally. Closing the door with his foot, he walked into the room and set Maria on the bed.

Ezekial really wasn't sure what to say then, he was a social blunder.

Maria smiled at him, then winced, the motion had hurt the burn on her face. Her burns were just beginning to blister, they were still tender.

Rogue noted the awkward silence and ran a hand through her hair lightly. They weren't really ones to talk a lot, were they? She turned to glance at Ezekiel but then looked away quickly as her face turned red again.

Gen reached over to touch the un-burned part of her face gently. Maybe he could try out the extent of his powers now....He focused on projecting his powers to his other hand and hovered it gently over her burns. The cool, healing powers that worked on his own wounds were slowly transmitted into Maria's face so that her wounds would heal as well.

Maria gave a tiny wince, but smiled as she felt to burn healing.

Rogue looked up. "Well....My mom...Heard about this school. And my cousin was already here, so there wasn't really any problem about me coming." She looked away quickly. "And it was probably to hide the truth about....That....Man...As well."
