I had low expectations for this movie to begin with.....it was much worse.
Why is it in these kinds of movies there are a bunch of douchebags in this big gang at school who go above and beyond to bully these kids? The lead bad kid in this movie was a rapist in training. He was obsessed with Julie (Hilary Swank) and many times cornered her and grabbed at her very roughly. I don't understand why she didn't tell anyone about it.
The night she went into the school and the assholes were waiting for her, I about thought the lead tool wanted to gang rape her.
And the bad adult teacher guy encourages this behavior? WTF!
There are many things I find wrong with this movie but that was one of the first things that bothered me.
This movie shouldn't have been made....there was absolutely no need to make it.

oh oh...and the gas station scene is just stupid.
The guy gets all mad that the dog is nice to Miyagi and wants to fight him. Julie says they should leave and the guy grabs her and looks at her like he intends to have his way with her too.....Let's all remember that she's not 18 and that his a** could still go to jail for statutory rape even if she agreed to sleep with him.
So the dog was nice to someone...BFD! The guy would assault a random person if his dog was nice to them? Why is this guy not in jail? If Miyagi had been a lawyer instead, his a** would get sued.
The fact that about every white dude she meets wants to have his way with her just seems absurd.
She might be pretty now but IMO she wasn't that great when she was younger, she makes too many stupid faces in this movie.
UGH! This movie is just so stupid!

They are making another Karate Kid staring Will Smiths son. This series needs to die now.

Agreed. Not everything needs a bleeping sequel and yet they keep on making them.

OR to be remade. Seriously.....Remaking Drop Dead Fred....wtf.
The original Karate Kid did have a lot of problems but it's fine as it is, I don't see a reason to remake it.

They are re-making Drop Dead Fred?! I guess the 80's and 90's were so awesome we have to relive them for another twenty years.
