Lifting one hand, Levi tugged slightly at his collar, drawing a deep breath. Indeed, there was a heaviness lingering around the shop that he had not quite noticed, the feeling of eyes burning holes in him from all directions... It was not that he was particularly afraid of Tae-yul, and he would not have wished his teacher to think that, but damnation, if it didn't feel like he was under some rather intense scrutiny... "Of that, I have no doubt," said Levi rather dryly, clearing his throat.
When Hae-min returned with Edward in tow, it was almost a relief to have something -- someone -- else to focus on, and the German's grey eyes turned to quickly survey the other man. So this was Edward Fauste, then...? Levi's fair brows rose. Hm. He couldn't quite get a bead on the other man's temperament, and thus, as before -- he pulled out his very best shiny new manners.
Dipping a half-bow, Levi smiled his most courteous smile. "Good afternoon, Mr. Fauste," he murmured, quiet and mild, though blunt as ever. No man had ever told Levi he over-finessed things. "My name, though it surely precedes me, is Levi Dreyer, and I am told that my mother knew your family."

Levi's exhibition of shinily perfect manners didn't go unobserved by whatever was watching. The eyes on his back vanished, the atmosphere suddenly lifted, and Hae-min smiled angelically.
"It did. Good afternoon, Mr. Dreyer; Hae-min tells me that your mother was Aurelia Moriarty? Mine was Elizabeth Fauste. She attended your mother's wedding; I suppose they would be friends, then, as the summoning community was small--"
"Enough socializing," interrupted Tae-yul. "Return tomorrow, return at six. Hae-min will introduce you to everyone now."
And he left, stomping up the stairs. "Sorry," whispered Hae-min from her spot behind a bookshelf, "He's rather disagreeable..."

A deep breath once again filled Levi's chest. He felt at least relatively human again, and perhaps his composure slipped a little in the face of his relief, placing a slightly larger smile on his lips despite himself, and he opened his mouth to respond to Edward when Tae-yul decided to interrupt. Tact, did this man lack it in entirety? And...
"Six? Does he mean in the morning?" Levi questioned no one in particular, sighing deeply and looking somewhat resigned. "I doubt he would mean otherwise. Cruel and unusual punishment." He offered a small, appreciative smile at Hae-min for her apology, before turning his gaze back to Edward again, forthright.
"As I was going to say... ja. My mother was indeed Aurelia Moriarty -- and it is good to know that the memory of her yet lives on in minds other than my own," Levi murmured quietly. "Though I gather it is a secondhand memory. We are in a similar circumstance, then?"

"In the morning," said Hae-min, smiling. "I'll have tea ready for you, Dreyer-nim."
Edward was sighing. "Fairly so, I'd assume, Mr. Dreyer." He held out one hand to shake, but at the last moment pulled away to wave at Hae-min; the asian lady was leaving, coiffed hair bobbing as she passed the window.
Then he extended his hand again; when their fingertips touched, there was a small shock, like a discharge of static electricity. Edward didn't even seem to notice it, if his smile was any indication.
