Idea for a new way to do war, this is based on me or someone else writing up a code for a program, but at the end I talk more on just continuing this on gaia in a new way.
The program would offer:
Choose name
Choose race
Choose class(es) - generalized to melee, healingspells, damagespells, nature(shifting), side (dark/light)
Keep track of wins (more wins = +'s to rolls, depending on class)
Keep track of losses
Posting system, designated areas (more than one, more than one fight at a time)
Dice system, each post rolls one ten-sided die
Fatigue - Fight two fights in a row, get a -1 to your roll, three fights -2, etc (reset each day)

Offers log in, when logging in you enter a character name, and then choose your race, from your race you pick your class(es) which you have a limit of 2 to.. (I will use a general character as an example) Human melee/side dark. Character would start with 0 win, 0 loss. Character could enter a sort of forum area, where when you post the program automatically rolls one 10 sided die (numbering 1-10). The higher the die the more effective the move is. With each post you would also click a button indicating whether that was an attack/spell/dodge/ect. The person who replies to that post then must be responsible and respond accordingly to the number the other play rolled, and must roll their own die. Say my human swings his sword at another human of the same class, and I get a 10, in order for that character to then dodge/parry my attack they would have to roll another 10. If they were to attack in the same post, then that 10 they rolled would also roll over. However, if they roll say a 9, then they're dodge/parry/attack would be less affective. Fights would be watched like any other fight on Gaia, and after a time limit, game would have a timer built per fight, a winner would be decided by their strategics and skills showed, though they might lose due to fact of pure bad luck with dice. The mod would indicate so through some sort of mod panel and the winner would gain a +1 to their count and loser would gain a +1 to their losses, if character held 1 win and then lost once, they would go back to 0 wins, and their lose count would still win, if they were at 3 wins and they lost once, they would go down to 2 wins, and their loss would still ride. Every 20(changeable) won fights a character would gain a +1 to their rolls in the fights, if they then drop below 20 wins, they would lose the plus. Say at 50 wins you would get a +2 to rolls, I say the max you could get is +3 at about 100 wins? Now, how the pluses in fight work. My human melee/side dark swings his sword at another human melee/side dark in my post, I click that I use an attack, and as my class is melee, I would get a +1 bonus to that roll as long as my win count is over 20. The other character then, say has less than 20 wins, and rolls the same number as me, because of my plus 1 my move would then be stronger than theirs. Now, say you just fought and you go straight into another fight, you wold then suffer fatigue, and have a minus to your rolls, no matter what they are for. Fight three fights in a row, you get a -2, and so on. Would reset each day (or after some other set amount of time)
So pretty much, the point of this is to eliminate people making illogical moves, as they are determined on how well it would work. none of that, you can't hit me I'm invincible stuff, if the person rolled a 10, you're gunna get hit unless you roll a 10 too. The pluses and minuses just make it a little more interesting, and adds a perk for those who are active. The idea of this being in a program isn't necessary but would be cool as it would keep track over everything, however, this could be done on gaia as long as someone would keep track of who has how many wins/losses, as gaia does have a built in dice system. Also, the +'s based on class moves, IE a wizard casting a spell would therefor get a + to the roll, could be omitted, and instead after having so many wins the person would get a plus period to any roll, and at the beginning of a match the two fighters would just state what + or - they have.
