Coronet
As a key trade route, and the capital of Corellia, Coronet was the chosen location for New Republic officials to establish their governmental offices after they fled Coruscant. All who live and work here are extremely loyal to the New Republic, and have taken up arms having heard of the Imperial invasion.
Though heavily fortified with thousands of New Republic troops, military leaders are eagerly awaiting support from other worlds, both to repel any impending Imperial assault on the city, and to evacuate the New Republic politicians.
Offices and factories have been turned into makeshift defense posts and lookouts, with New Republic officials well defended inside the Senate building. Even so, normal life continues, with most businesses still running normally, but the fear of an Imperial attack always in the back of people's minds. New Republic troops enjoy what little downtime they get in Coronet's famous bars and clubs, before being sent out to repel the Imperial forces.
