Kichi Kuronagi Well, honestly, I'm not sure how well I could lead an only Star Wars one. And yes, there were female Jedi, I think. Just rare. They actually weren't all that rare, they just weren't included in the original 6 movies. You play the games and read the books (all a part of the Extended Universe) and you find out that, while it did lean somewhat toward males, females were by no means rare.
