since places are tied, I'll give both, depending on the outcome of which city is chosen, I'll pick one of these two:
Summoner's name: MeiMei (a code name instead of Pyper)
Summoner's location: Somewhere in old world (haven't decided yet)
Brief description of summoner: Traveling, 'exorcist/priestess' for hire. Makes money living off of various jobs she can get.

Brief description of summoner: Kage is a punk. He was a rock star until he summoned his asura on stage by accident and all hell broke loose. The mob was interested in his power though, and 'hired' him.

Summoner's location: Japan (North) - random domed city
Brief description of summoner: Akinari is a tall, strong geneticist that manipulates genomes of plants (in particular roses) for the production and sales of vanity plants in the city he calls home. Pleasant, kind, and caring, he's very knowledgeable in his craft and tends to focus on his work - resulting in a need to be reminded of the world beyond the office.

Summoner's name: Raoul
Summoner's location: Sinhanouk in Cambodia
Brief description of summoner: A Spaniard, from the faraway renegade city of Madrid, which - unlike others - is not reigned by some sort of mafia, but a totalitarian police state, under strict, military control by the "Ministry". He joined the secret police as one of their agents, as that was the only way to be permitted to leave the town. His training left him to be quite broken inside, uncertain of what conditioning and triggers there are for the Ministry to call upon after his 'training'. He's coldblooded and cynical, with a rather dry/black humor. He left Madrid in search for the whereabouts of his father, who was an explorer of sorts, only to find a certain shakujo close to his corpse. He's traveled both, the Old and the New World on his journey (one of the Silk Road routes), but only ever seen the domed cities from the outside.

Summoner's location: Old world - Kyoto
Brief description of summoner: Basically your every day wandering bum who enjoys drinking and is looking for the 'Good Life'. Tired of being used by his villages Leader..priest..the hag..He left his home to search out his own path, and find out who he is and what he really wants out of life.
Charming, sarcastic, and non-chalant, Triton is a fun guy to be around, though he really doesn't seem to care about much of anything. He has practically nothing in the way of training, and gets his money via entertainment, magic tricks and story telling. When that doesn't work he resorts to the beg-borrow-or steal method. A true entertainer who would rather not have to work hard for anything.
