I ws on my way home from a band review in Santa Cruz California, and our buses got shot. This is what the newspaper sums up---
MERCED, Calif. -- California authorities say someone using a gun shot at three buses carrying Merced County high school students home from a band competition.
School officials said no one was injured in shooting Saturday night. Windows on some of the buses were smashed.
Merced Union High School District associate superintendent Raynee Daley said the students were returning from the Santa Cruz area when the buses were hit on Highway 152 near the San Luis Reservoir, about 15 miles west of Los Banos.
Daley says the students on those buses attended Merced, Golden Valley and Buhach Colony high schools. Another bus from Atwater High School was behind them and did not sustain shots.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating.
