Rory came in behind her, hugging her and taking a deep breath. Home. It seemed strange almost. Moving to walk past Lee, the boy took her hand, leading her to the bed room. "I wanna hae a look around. W' really weren't here long before gaen t' your parents."

Why the bedroom, though? They'd just got done with that, was he ready for another round already? Honestly, Lee couldn't keep up. She let herself be tugged, though, a slightly amused smile on her face from how happy Rory seemed to be to be back again.

Rory flopped down on the bed, face first. He wasn't in the mood for what Lee thought he wanted. Mostly, he just wanted to be able to surround himself in the scent of his home, their home. He'd been fine at her parents, but it wasn't Farstep. He made a soft happy hum, grinning, even if she couldn't see. His mother had come and washed their bedding at some point while they were away, the distinctive smell of lavender clinging to the fabric from the homemade soap she used. "Home."

Her grin widened, now just amused by how adorable he was. While he was having fun smelling the sheets in here, she was going to run off back to the kitchen to get a snack before they headed off again.

Rory moved, catching her wrist. "Oi, lass, get back here an' snuggle wi' me fae a bit. I wanna know we're really home." He tugged on her hand gently, a pleading look in his eyes.

Lee pretended to be reluctant as she gave him a short "Fine," and crawled onto the bed, twisting so she could flop onto her back. This bed really wasn't that bad. It actually was rather close to being as comfortable as her old one.

Rory wriggled closer to her, snuggling against her. "Good t' be home finally." He looked up at her with his colorless eyes. "Are you happy w're back? Truly?"

Lee let her head rest against the bed, chuckling a bit under her breath at his question. "Not as happy as you are, I don't think. But yeah." She smiled at him, leaning in to give him a quick kiss of reassurance. She was happy to be back.

Rory's pouting face again! Lee loved it, a little too much. Still, she hadn't been this excited to go home before, and she'd hardly ever left the upper districts until she met Faolan. Then again, his childhood was probably a bit more pleasant than hers had been, at least while he was home. Either way, it was nice to see him so happy. Lee smiled and stretched out a bit, letting him continue on with his smelling and feeling and hearing. Why wasn't she this overjoyed to be anywhere?

Rory wriggled a bit on the bed, cuddling against her and yawning. "You can gae do what you were gonna. I'll get them boxes off th' cart later." He was rather tuckered out after helping moved the boxes around at the house, the argument, moving more boxes, frantic love making in the closet, moving more boxes, Lee's friskiness in the car, moving more boxes, and now finally being home... the poor guy realized how tired he was. He rolled over and curled up in a ball, intent on napping.

Lee smiled down at Rory, watching him for a moment before sitting up and heading back to the kitchen. Actually, it was rather chilly today, wasn't it? She looked back at the balled up Rory in the middle of the bed and stepped back over, pulling up the quilt his sister had made and laying it over him. She was satisfied. Giving another small his to the top of his head, she walked off back toward the kitchen, intent on getting something fattening to fill her up.
