Do NOT set the kitchen on fire. And of course the house.
Lol. I was making this healthy soup drink thing. And it takes 30-45 mins to, cook, I guess that would be the word for it.
I did not want to stand there and wait for half hour. So I went upstairs.
Ok. The thing is, I did NOT forget about it. But what I did forget was to turn down the heat once the water was boiled. I was suppose to keep it at the highest power to let it boil before turning it down to level 2 or 3.
But I left it and was doing the dishes and getting something to eat. COMPLETELY forgot to turn it down.
Walked out my room like 25-30 mins. NOT even the full ammount of time I was suppose to leave it. Could smell burning.
I was thinking, 'Wait a minute....CRAP!', Ran down stair and turn it off. the water all dried up. Well it was just about dried up. It was sizzling. And ..the bottom of the saucepan was black.
Had to open the windows and the 2 front doors to get rid of the burning smell. I could still smell it after like 3 hours.
Yeah.....Won't be doing THAT again. And people think that I can be too paranoid when checking things over a million times. THIS is the reason why I should check thigs over a million times.
-Ever burnt anything?

Every time I start cooking things like pancakes, crepes, or French toast, I ALWAYS burn the first one. Sometimes the first two, depending on how long it takes me to establish my rythym.
