If you haven't read Skip Beat! Ch. 148 yet, please please read it before reading on!
As of 10/17/09, there are no scanlations.

So today, cbee posted the Chinese raw links for this chapter, and I was like, NOOOOOOO~! I CAN'T READ CHINESEEE. But I found the Jap raws, so it was all okay.
This chapter was very very cute! Remember when Kyouko didn't make Ren chocolates? It's because she made this cute little jelly thing for him! It was just so adorable! He was so happy, but he didn't show it. Stupid actors. x)

Too bad Kyouko can't forget about Shou throughout the chapter, though. And Ren knows this. The last page, Ren leans in, and...

WE DON'T KNOW! WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER!
...which comes out in December. Long wait, guys!

If the mangaka is nice to us, I think she'd let us have them kiss.
But if not, he'll probably be thinking about kissing her, but he'll back out, leaving us sad.

Anyways, I'm amazed at Ren's restraint! eek Kyoko was so cute and glowing (she even went out of her way to give him a special valentine treat) and if he doesn't kiss her in the next chapter, we may have to consider that he's been brainwashed by aliens and turned gay or something. lol *crosses fingers, toes, arms, eyes, and legs for a RenxKyoko kiss next chapter*

btw... the mystery bday present still remains a mystery... it's been how many weeks now?! sweatdrop

I love Kyoko's cute faces when she's getting all shy, and I cracked up when suddenly her face turned scary, and then Ren's turned demon king.

Heh, he may be able to resist temptation when she makes cute faces, but just the thought of her thinking of another man...his jealousy just may be a key factor in him finally confessing.

I just hope he doesn't wake up last minute and try to pull a lame reason like, "oh there was something in your hair" and not kiss her. Instead Ren should be like, "Oh, I wanted you to taste some of this good dessert too." heart

Ren is not a man if he doesn't act soon.

Finally the scanlation is up! I really really really REALLY hope that Ren doesn't cop out of this kiss otherwise I will be pissed. I mean, those two haven't had a major romantic development in a good long while...the manga-ka HAS to take this relationship somewhere.

Also, does anyone know why we have to wait til December for the next chapter? It's like a little over a month away!

As for waiting until December crying crying crying crying , I think that's just her schedule. It seems to go like 2 wk-2wk-1 month-2 wk- 2wk -etc.

Ah, okay. I just thought she was going on a really longbreak (which she probably needs...a manga-ka's work schedule can be super stressful).
