Uuni and MakerethJr. Weyrling
Journal Brief Historical Overview
Uuni Impressed to Makereth in the "Song Clutch" Hatching, which was the first of Dorath's clutches to have contained a gold. Uuni herself is probably not as well known at High Reaches Weyr as she transferred from Ista Weyr approximately a month before the Hatching took place. Makereth quickly changed that after Impression - he enjoys being in the spotlight and has probably gone through countless pranks and jokes regarding the Higher-Ups. More importantly, it's probably general knowledge that he caused a fuss with a few of these pranks during the first Weyrling lesson, but has sense settled into his "place" now that he knows they are serious business. Like the other Weyrlings, they currently bunk together in one large barracks.
Personality Overview
Uuni
Uuni has a distinctly spontaneous nature and a disregard for her own well-being. Some would classify her as irresponsible, and perhaps they wouldn't be too far off. She certainly doesn't like taking on responsibility. She tends to be a bit of a flirt if only out of habit, but with Makereth around, all it will ever amount to is flirting. She tends to make a lot of acquaintances, but lacks heavily in the friend department. She's very squeamish of blood, tends to wear mostly skirts, and over all believes in a smile for life even when it's kicking you while you're down.
Will Dos
- Be friendly, upbeat
- Give advice on your sex life. Hell, she'll even play Casa Nova and ask that girl/guy out for you that you never had the guts to say hi to!
- Go skinny dipping in the lake!
- Write you a contract-paper (Pern restraining order? O: )
- Listen to your long rants, or just listen in general
- Get into a snowball fight
- Pretty much. . . whatever.
Won'ts
- Get violent (or even fight back when hit first)
- Engage in sexual relations (not until Makereth is old enough, in any case)
- Fall in love (lawl)
- Shove her opinions down someone's throat
- Draw
- Give love advice
- Be your girlfriend. :<
- Probably won't be your friend, either
- Go out of her way for you or have sappy heart-to-hearts
- Spread your characters secrets. She's surprisingly not a gossip monger in any way whatsoever
Makereth
Makereth wants to be in the spotlight, and he wants you to know it! Everyone can be a friend, and everyone just needs to smile a bit more. Like Uuni, he has issues with responsibility, but his come on an even greater scale. Makereth doesn't want to do work, or take the stand and be a leader, he just wants to have fun and enjoy life, because, hey, you only live once! And he'll help everyone else enjoy it, too. If you're upset, expect him to pull a wild stunt to cheer you up whether its putting a smiley face on your door or doing the "pull my tail" joke. He'll never run out of ways to be happy, even if his material is a bit thin at times. Just . . . don't cry in front of him. It's one of the most distressing things for Makereth, and he doesn't know what to do if you cry!
Will Dos
- Tease (joke-wise, not sexually)
- Make fun of leader-type characters and hard-asses (ones that are angry and can't have fun!)
- Pull Pranks
i) Doesn't mind getting caught
ii) Enjoys pranks that put him in the spotlight and in the center of attention
iii) Saves the biggest and best pranks for special people!
iv) Will certainly brag about his best pranks and spread the word
- Will be your friend. Friends all around!
- Pretend to be over traumatic experiences quickly
- Cheer up your character! Feeling in the dumps? Makereth can help.
Won'ts
- Give advice unless directly asked for it.
- Take on your responsibilities
- Get violent
- Pull a prank that would obviously hurt someone in some way (obviously, mistakes happen, but he'd never make a mean prank intentional)
- Tell your character to change (he's cool with everyone the way they are)
- Flirt (he's not like Uuni at all in that regard)
- Listen to your brown/bronze/blue/green's orders if they're simply snapping him around. (He'll listen to leaders if he decides he wants to!)
- Probably won't use the same prank more than once. He's young, with lots of ideas!
- Deal with your crying character very well. There are some problems even Makereth can't fix with a smile and a laugh.
Type of RP Looking For
Any. Whatever you want!
Plot Ideas
- Someone to get livid at Makereth for a prank so he can dig himself a giant hole.
- Uuni's got a lot of good people looking out for her right now. Someone that would mislead her, or so forth and then "betray" or backstab her might be fun.
- Or, alternatively, she could probably gain someone's trust and unknowingly backstab/mess up their lives as well. When she's older, she'll be able to steal some boyfriends/girlfriends.
- When she's older, a seduction competition or something of the sort with the boys. Something along the lines of say: Who can get the most in bed in a week, or, if there's a person in the Weyr that is known for their impossibility to get, a competition to see who can when their heart/get a voluntary kiss first.
- Got ideas? Please, dish them out. I'm up for whatever.
