So here's my question, if you could continue tsubasa how would you do so or if you wanted the outcome for the characters to be different how would you have made it into a more satisfactory end?
I would have like to see the characters actually have a definite end. Like I probably would have sent Kurogane and Fai to Japan because where else does Fai have to go? And then I probably would have kept Sakura and Syaron traveling or something along those lines. I also would have like to have some type of revisit to all the past worlds they had gone to just like a page that wrapped up all those side story lines. But all in all I think CLMAP did a rather good job creating a bitter sweet ending to the story like with all of their works.

I didn't have any problem with the open-endedness of the conclusion, really. I would have been disappointed to see their happy family permanently separated after all they went through together, and with Kurogane's ties to Japan, and S+S's ties to Clow, there were very few possibilities for a satisfying end.
The problem I DID have with the ending was that Sakura was left behind in Clow entirely. The three boys will continue to grow and discover new things, and the 'woman' is left at home, waiting for her 'man'. It's highly sexist; the prophecy about being a "burden" reads like an unnecessary, last-minute excuse to put the poor, delicate woman in her place. Regardless of which Sakura this is (same soul, etc), we have Tokyo and Infinity as proof of her endurance and character, but at the last minute, she suddenly realizes that she's not worth bringing along. Who says Sakura can't hold her own, at this point?
How many ******** beasts does a girl have to kill? How many balls must she bust? How moe/tsundere/yandere must a girl be to be considered a strong female character, strong enough to at least be regarded as an equal to the boy she loves?
The fact that Syaoran accepts that she is better off staying behind, that she isn't worth the trouble, repulses me and makes me resent the character I have adored from start to almost-finish of this series, but more than that I resent CLAMP, as fellow females for thinking this is a satisfying end to the series.
"Everyone's support gave us courage. We will always be together!!"
Bull - s**t.
/Rant. I might have exaggerated my view a little bit, but uh. Yeah, I hated that part of the ending more than the "ending" where Sakura & Syaoran were unconscious.

If I could continue the story,I would still let the guys travel, but I'd also give each of them a mirror so that they can teleport to Clow and Japan. Plus, the mirror could also be a communitcation device that would allow Sakura to talk to Syaoran,Fai, and Kurogane. XD Baisclly,I'd try to find a way to keep the family together always!
