I am getting so sick and tired of this. No matter what I try to do to bring some order to this ******** mad house of chickens running around with their heads cut off it is apparently the wrong decision. If everyone dislikes what I am trying to do for them so much they should just speak up. I will give the guild away and disappear from your lives in the dead of the night never to be seen again.
Seriously. I try to introduce some common sense and order into the chaos that is petitions and apparently I am a dictator hoarding and abusing power. I make a statement about how having two petitions for the same subject is redundant and am apparently being petty and argumentive. Seriously. Either grow the ******** up or let me know you all hate my guts so I can go away and make all your lives better. I don't need the guild. The only reason I'm still here is to make it a better place for you and if I'm not doing that, I might as well be dead.

Welcome to the highest position of crew?
Honestly no one is hating you, they are essentially hating that position of power. People are not liking what is going on so the blame automatically falls on whoever is Captain, VC, and Crew. You just happen to be getting the full force of the 'hate' because it is ultimately you who gets the final say, its you who is putting in time and effort and having people not like it.
Trust me Toastie, if people honestly hated you they would let you know. There are people in this guild, me included, who are not afraid in the least to speak their mind about disliking other people.
Again, welcome. Siamese had to deal with this kind of s**t and so did I when were were co in charge of the guild. Nothing of difference occurred when Sib was in power so you probably didn't see it then.
Though I will admit, maybe the rest of the guild is being overally hostile right now. Im going to chalk some of that up to the crew itself. There have been several incidents of crew being condescending and resorting to name calling as well as the whole "This is how it is, deal with it". You guys are crew, you don't have to be nice at all, but know that when you (and when I say you, I mean all of crew) are treating the rest of the guild like that, there will be backlash along side of the usual backlash.
Sorry you are feeling attacked but aside from that I personally don't think I need to owe anyone an apology. This kind of behavior of the guild and your feelings come with the position.

I understood that there would be people disliking things that are happening when I became captain. And I know when you give people bad attitude and act bitchy about things you're going to get more botching back tenfold. The thing I didn't expect was the all-out hostility some people (not mentioning anyone specifically) have been showing to me -personally- about subjects when I give them polite and non-hostile or bitchy replies.
Some people have been taking things too far and making non-personal issues into personal battles. But it's off of Gaia so....

TOASTIE. I love you and all you do for the guild... There's a reason that a majority chose you over me as Captain. Whether they still think that was a good choice now or not, the reason was there and it always will have been. I will support you in any way that I can.
And creating drama outside the guild is I know nothing that we can control and I'm sorry about people pestering you about it outside of the guild, but do know that I fully support you in all that you do. :]
