Best three pieces of advice I can give from the similar period of my own life:
Read all you can get your hands on, second and triple guess all of it.
Make keeping the peace within your home until your priority until feel have the strength confidence and knowledge to explain and defend your choices without needlessly alienating others.
Remember that above all else, unless you choose to share it, what is spoken with the gods is between you and the gods alone.

If it's neo-pagan witchcraft we're talking about, go ahead and be a happy solitary witch.
If it's Wicca, there's the issue that one can't learn Wicca on ones' own - you need instruction from a lineaged coven, and initiation into the Mysteries to be able to learn Wicca.

Look at all the different paths. There are a lot of them and this can be a little daunting, but you never know what you might find.
Learn everything. DavarGrey is right. Read, read, and read. When you're done with that read some more. To learn is to grow.
See if you can find a local pagan group or some open-minded people who might know something. Someone to talk to can be really beneficial.

I'm the same way. I can't really practice out in the open, so I practice at night (when it comes to lighting candles and saying thank you to the Goddess). The idea about getting you hands on all the books you can find is a great idea. I do that too. Although you might not know what you are doing is right, go with it. You might surprise yourself . :3

Morgandria If it's Wicca, there's the issue that one can't learn Wicca on ones' own - you need instruction from a lineaged coven, and initiation into the Mysteries to be able to learn Wicca. This cannot be said enough. It is incredibly important that you really really understand what Wicca is, and you cannot trust most books.

I have defiantly been told by Wiccans that what I've read in a good amount of books in wrong.
