EPIC PREVIEWS OF THE BOOK.
k notrly.
I'm posting up snippets here, constructive criticism is appreciated. I already know I need to flesh out descriptions and such, I'm simply posting as I write. Cuz right now, I'm writing as the ideas come to me.

And thanks to the harddrive crash of '07, this is the grand total of what has been written at this point. It will NOT go in chronological order. Quote: Hang on.They'd never been this high before, and it was a good thing she'd already wrapped her arms around Drazyl's neck as tight as she could. Jess was sure of that, just as she was sure she wasn't going to be able to move until they were safe on the ground again. She shut her eyes, pressing her face against the warm scales as she felt Drazyl lean to one side. The scream that slipped out couldn't be helped, as Jessica's sense of balance kicked in and rudely informed her that Drazyl was spiraling. But that cry was nothing compared to the shriek she let out when the leather saddle and straps suddenly gave way. For a moment, she stayed put, then gravity betrayed her, pulling her free of Drazyl's back. She saw it as Drazyl dipped and turned, trying to grab her...and missed. The idea that she was going to die like this flashed through her brain, and she screamed. "Gotcha!" And quite suddenly, something caught her, a pair of arms wrapping around her waist and pulling her up. She twisted to look, her eyes widening as she realized it was another person, not her dragon. And this person's ears...they were pointed. "What are you doing at this height? Are you trying to get killed?" He was so tanned, and young looking. Like her age. And those ears. Quote: She had set the stone on her desk without a second thought that evening. And now, with the entire house dark and silent, it was shaking furiously. And, though, there was no one awake to hear, it was also emitting curious squeaking sounds. A particularly energetic shake brought it to the edge of the desk, where it balanced precariously for a few moments before falling. It cracked when it hit the floor, rolling over a few times and finally stopping with the cracked side up. A few more hesitant rocking motions, and it cracked again, right down the middle.
