well, the JV football team
theyre completely having a B**** fit about how the band sucks and how we dont play at the JV games,
First of all ,we dont suck, we are one of the top rated bands in the AAA division and we always and I mean ALWAYS take home the gold from competitions.
ad theyre having a fit about hwo we suck. well you know what? they cant suck it because they dont know how much hard work we put into this.
Sorry I just needed to vent

xd Wow. Haven't they realized that bands don't ever play for JV games?
Just ignore them...they're probably taking out their rage that they didn't make varsity on you guys.

Our band is soooooooooo much better than the football team but of course they make a big deal about the football team anyway

lol thanks... Its just like they expected us too, and the football team was aking us all these unreasonable things, like play our halftime show,
then do the tunnel, then play a POST game (keeep in mind we did the pre game aswell) and all this stuff, then they have the nerve to tell us that we dont know what hard work is.

Is postgame an unreasonable thing to demand? We always do a postgame show...
Oh, I know. You should have a JV band, for all the people who didn't make it into the real band. Haha.

I have a pretty funny story about footbll players being idiots, and these gys wrere varsity.
*BD is walking past a group of football players, taking the water and props out to the field for rehearsal*
FB 1: Dude, i so wanna be in band
FB 2: Yeah, it looks so hard.
BD(To FB 1): You really shouldn't talk about things that you have no clue about. At least the band students don't ditch class
FB 2: Hey, thats my teammate!
BD: Really? I poop bigger then him!
XD we laughed so hard. They just kind of stared at him like 0.o Sadly, it was true. The guy was super tiny!

That sucks. When our football game won their first home game, they were thanking us for helping them win as we departed the field. It was really nice. c:

Our football team is mean also! they blame us for there bad team and now were not allowed to play when the ball is in play. it sucks!

I forgot to put my philosophy! I strongly believe in this, because band is awesome. It is basically what my bd said at freshman band camp my freshman year.
You can have a bad football team and a good band, but you cannot have a good footb all team an a bad band.
So faR, only one school has not fit under this; our rival school. Their band is terrible, but their football team is great(We will probably be playing this school for state championships. That should be a good game.) I'm not talking our rival band, but our rival school. (We hate one band, because they are rude and literally overrated, in other words they deserve lower scores thn they get, and the other is the rival school, as in everyone at our school doesn't like them, except the band kids because we all grew up together, or at least most of us. The rival school shares the middle school feeder schools with us, so everyone knows eachother.)

Last year, we did halftime at a JV game, but it was just some random thing. We were at practice and all of a sudden our tech was like "Hey, let's do halftime!" No one cares about JV, but as for varsity, they SUCK. Two years ago, 0-10; last year, 1-9; this year, 2-8. But the band is awesome, so that makes up for it. I've noticed that usually schools with crappy football teams have great bands. And I personally think the opposite is true as well... At this one football game last year, we were SLAUGHTERED by the other team, but their band? They didn't go onto the field to play the National Anthem (they played it in the stands) and there were all these wrong notes, the trumpets were blasting, the clarinets were squeaking, the tubas were splatting...it was very ew. And so on and so forth....
