I recently found out I have a FaceBook*spits* account. An account that I sure as hell don't remember making. There's nothing on it, the e-mail account is mine(that's how I found out about it: my friend sent me a Friend request and it sent an e mail confirmation). Now, I concede that I do have a bad memory, but I like to think that I can at least remember what accounts I do or don't create. I think I'd at least remember a confirmation link.
With much disgust I reset and changed the password to something long and ridiculous, even changing my e mail password.
Does FaceBook just create accounts without permission? If you type in a fairly well known user name, does it just make a profile? Or is my memory worse that I thought and maybe I really did make the account when hopped up on allergy medicine?
I'm sorry about the rant, this has just really freaked me out. And I might be a little grumpy from having to change my sleep schedule. sweatdrop Also I apologise to anyone who actually likes FaceBook; it's just not my thing.

I don't think it can make an account for you... I thought you were gonna rant about a friend making one in your name.
I'm so addicted to that site ugh x.x It's so bad.

No, nobody knows my e-mail password, and it's impossible to guess; I made sure of that.
Now that I've had time to calm down, I'm starting to think I really might have created the stupid thing and completly forgot. In my defence, if I did make it, it probably would have been to shut someone up, so maybe I repressed the memory.*shrugs* sweatdrop
In better news, I'm going to Anime Banzai tomorrow! blaugh If all goes well*knocks on wood*, I'll be back either Sunday or Monday with tales of my exploits. Naturally I'll try to get the pics developed ASAP.

i would be pissed to find i have a Facebook account i didn't know i had...and yet i still have the paranoia that my friends might have created one for me behind my back <.< but there have been a couple times where i've completely forgotten i created an account on certain websites, so when i eventually find them again, i find out that i only used the account ONCE for something XD
