Well my oldest sisters friend (who is 33) started to read Twilight. I knew for a fact she would enjoy it seeing as she is one of those extremely hopeless romantics that have nothing else to hold on to. Now, I'm the youngest out of my 3 sisters. I'm 18, my older sister 25 ad my oldest 29. Now they both have common sense (it's where I learn it from). But this started a discussion of Twilight. They both know where I stand, know I read alot and take my word for it. My older sister watched the movie and understood the fact that Bella has no personality from the movie alone. "If anything," she said "I watched the movie as more of a means to laugh." My oldest sister has been telling me she wants to read it simply to see why this this bullshit so god damn popular. I offered to go barrow my friends copy from up the road for her to read. After this conversation today she stared at me for a moment and said "Listen. I don't have time to read a 500-something paged book with a kid on my hip. SPECIALLY if its a shitty ******** read not even worth the ******** effort."
Oh and my older sister states she rather read something with a life lesson of sorts rather than a shitty romance.

You are lucky, for your sisters are better than mine, for she is into shitty romance. But still, at least she didn't go extremist with it. Otherwise, I'd be readying weapons at my room, no joke.

You're so lucky! Most of my female cousins LOVE Twilight.
The two cousin that are closest to my age on Mom's side are both mild Twilight fans. They think RPatts is hot and they loved both the books and movie, but they don't fan-girl over the series. (Thank God!) Anne is 18 and Laura is 13.
My younger cousins on Dad's side are cool though. They hate the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana, and HSM. Not sure how they feel about Twilight, but neither one likes to read. But, they like Harry Potter so I doubt they'd be into Twilight.

Awesome!
I have brother who's obsessed with video games, WoW and his computer, he wouldn't go near a crappy romance novel if his life depended on it. I turned my step-cousin anti. My actual cousins are another matter, though, they're obsessed with Twilight, Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana.

Win.
My sister is, what like, 8-9 months old now?
If in the future I see her with the book, I think I'll be bale to convince her to put it down.

If I kill her, I'd get myself in jail, not a good thing.
