I guess Quarentine falls under the "kind of" category, and there are 3 versions of Night of the Living Dead, the original and then 2 remakes.

Day of the Dead 2

Outpost= "kind of" category. It's a ghost story ore like, but its about these american or birtish soldiers (cant remember which) that are behind enemy lines in the present day, and they're forced into an old WW2 German bunker when they're surrounded by the enemy. Then they find someone "alive" in a room of dead but not decomposed Nazis, and then they all come to life and start eating everyone like zombies. I've seen soem of it thinking it was a zombie movie and hated it, but now that I know it's more liek a ghost story, I'll like it better.
